Not better than Konsa so not worried.

Why would anyone loan him from us in Jan and accept a recall clause. With loan market as it is they would be nuts. 2 weeks after the window shuts, we recall him and they have lost a player in a key position without ability to replace

I don't think you can recall players now the loan has to be from window to window

Good riddance. Yes he's come through the ranks but not a great defender whose only contributions this season have been getting sent off and conceding a penalty.

    You sound nice.

I remember watching his debut and thinking he was very composed and had good vision and a bit of aggression.

Another example of piss poor management of our home-grown talent.

Even if we are just Roland's player farm, someone might remember to feed the animals.

It is why we need and should have a dof. There is a need to have a long term plan, especially so with a trigger happy owner and a very poor CEO.

Johnson should be the one shoved out of the door. If Tex then also departs it leaves 4 CH - which is how many we should have. We then have two young and talented CH who can come in a do a job and can both play full back. Also balanced with one playing right foot and one left. What's not to like about that?

Just as important is we will have a plan for a future that extends for longer than half a season

Don't you come on here talking sense mate, whatever next

Realistically next season we're not going to have Johnson, Bauer or Teixeira. It would be a shame to sell a decent youth product regardless, but we'll really regret not having him when next season starts and we are running around trying to bring in a replacement

It depends on which division we're in next season. Bauer may stay if we're in the Championship

Not 'if the price is right'

That applies to any player at any club but taking Bauer as an example he seems happy at Charlton and has settled in well, but won't want to play in L1 again next season.

Konsa will be gone in Jan, so why should we lose another good prospect?

When we recalled him last year still in the Champ, baring a few mistakes. He was more than capable in the Championship as back up and will for sure play in the Championship throughout his career.

He needs a level head on and to learn how to tackle. Once that happens, he will become an even better defender. There is no point selling him for peanuts 100k etc. Unfortunately we just have too many CB's for once.

Lennon was ok with someone experienced alongside him. Last season our defending was shocking it has to be said, the only time we looked remotely solid was when Tex and Fanni had established some sort of a partnership.

Lennon might go on to be a Championship level defender, but it's certainly not a definite at this stage

Suprised by some of the comments. Wish him well if he leaves but he doesn't seem good enough.

It's really hard to judge home grown players fairly, they either seem to get excessive praise or excessive stick!
