Good afternoon all. So off we go again, another new era, lets hope its not another false dawn!! Karl Robinson our 8th manager under the esteemed management of RD and KM, will today face his old side. I'm hoping for a convincing victory and also hoping that Tex and Ba may now finally get a look in. I've read during the week everything that KR has said and to be honest I've been impressed, BUT, his talk has to show itself on the pitch and today would be a good day to start. I always look forward to FA Cup round 3 day and I want the Addicks to be part of it, of course we would have been if we hadn't had such an unnecessary relegation last season!! I may not be able to complete the match thread as I may get a call to finish some family matters, but I'll let you know If I cant continue. However I'll bring you the teams as soon as I have them, in the meantime COYR's!!

go live at KO, dont forger your add blocker...
Let's hope the footballing gods smile on us today!
Good starting XI for Charlton that. Two wingers who will take on full backs and get crosses in, Magennis better be ready!
Let's see how Botaka does. Jury still out on him. He's looked good in 10-15 min cameos but when he's been on for half an hour or so like he was vs Port Vale I thought he was pretty poor.
Karl Robinson has made two changes to Charlton’s starting XI for this afternoon’s Emirates FA Cup tie against Milton Keynes Dons - his first match in charge of the Addicks.
Dillon Phillips starts in goal. Ezri Konsa comes into the back four – replacing Kevin Foley – and he will operate alongside Jason Pearce, Patrick Bauer and Morgan Fox.
Andrew Crofts and Fredrik Ulvestad retain their engine-room berths, while Ademola Lookman and Jordan Botaka will be deployed out wide; the later coming in for his maiden Addicks start.
Josh Magennis and Nicky Ajose start up top.
In terms on injuries, Ricky Holmes, Declan Rudd, Chris Solly and Ahmed Kashi remain sidelined.
