I find KR's comments infuriating when I first read them (I really cannot bear to listen to him), but, on mature (as in on the way to rancid) reflection, they become laughable, at best.
In particular, this week, is his suggestion that it is difficult for the team to change from the 4-2-3-1 formation to something else.
I cannot be alone in thinking that this formation does not suit the players that we have (I shudder to think how bad they must be if this is their best formation), and that moving to something like 4-4-2, 4-3-3, 4-5-1 or, in the light of our lack of full backs this weekend, maybe even a 3-5-2, has to be easier for the players to live with.
The only person, I believe, that finds the change of formation difficult is Robinson himself, because he has no other ideas, and he cannot make the best of the players that he has now. He was flattered by having a team (at MK with Afobe and Alli, et al) that was able to be successful, for as long as the players were there, despite, rather than because of, his leadership.
I cannot wait for him to be gone.11 -
I genuinely think 3-5-2 could be the answer.
Problem would be who can be the attacking full backs and holding player from the 5?
The 2 would have to be Zyro and Ajose - Feed the Ajose and he will score...

I think Marshall would be worth a punt on the right - defensively he looks ok to me. But you don't have any options other than Sarr on the left unless you put a kid in. I honestly don't know if we have any that are ready.1

Good reply and question. - but for the only fact that Reeves will be able to pick out Ajose’s runs far better than Fosu. And with two strikers to occupy the defence of the opposition, this would allow Reeves to have more space to exploit and be creative.
