Fox: 7 - Best of the defence. A superb clearance when Scunthorpe strikers were queuing up to tap in a cross. Cross of the game on to Josh's head in the first half.

Konsa: 6 - Was under huge pressure in the first half, and looked in trouble. Got better and better as the game went on.
Lookman: 7.5 - Cracking goal to get us going. Makes some very poor decisions, especially defensively. But still learning the game.
Ulvestad: 7 - Good performance. Kept things working well. The weighting and timing of his pass for the third goal was really out of the top draw.
Crofts: 7.5 - Superb tackling in midfield. Started the 3rd with a thunderous tackle followed by a brilliant give and go with Ulvestad.
Jackson: 6.5 - Rolled back the years with a typical Jacko goal. Later on, a wonderful, gut busting run to get his head on a cross that he unfortunately sent straight to the keeper. Good captaincy too, always in the ear of the (very poor) referee.
Magennis: 7.5 - My hero! Never leaves anything on the pitch. Battles, scraps, chases from first whistle to the last. Chases down, and wins, balls that he has no right to get to. I wish some supporters would stop comparing him with a certain Frenchman, and just give him credit for being Josh Magennis.
Ajose: 7 - I thought he had a pretty good game. Showing signs of building a decent partnership with Big Josh. Worked very hard, and supplied some decent crosses in from out wide. Made room for himself in the 2nd half, and flashed a shot just wide.

I've never seen Messi, Ronaldo, Hazard, Robben or Neymar track back too much and they seem to do ok without it. Ade isn't a defender in the slightest. Slade should know this and set up so it isn't needed. And when he have Jackson on the other side hardly going 10 yards either side of the half way line on the other wing I don't think it's very fair to single out Ade.
