A good coach, but not a great manager. Awful tactics at times and behaviour on the sidelines for starters.

Be interesting to see if he follows Gary Monk again or whether he ends up back in Spain.

They had a massive falling out didnt they? - Would be extremely surprised to see him working with Monk again

How will this affect the Birmingham players, knowing their manager is off in 9 games time?

Hopefully badly when we play them at St Andrews!

Most unlikely, didn't he and Monk have a massive spat a few months ago!

They will probably lose 8 games and win the other one - I won’t state the obvious and say which game they will win.....

9 points off the play offs and 8 points clear of relegation. They're one of the very few sides with nothing left to play for anyway.

Take that kind of attitude into the remaining games and the eight-point buffer could disappear very quickly.

You’re right, Clotet and Monk did have a big falling out.

I don’t like Monk anyway, but both seem to be wrong’uns.

Bugger. Gibson is normally so loyal to his managers too...

Bizarre timing though, yes they were awful on Saturday, but if they did it a month ago, Colin would have time to organise them

    Has Warnock ever been relegated?

damn, or as they ridiculously say in America, dang

That’s one less team out of the equation of relegation, they’re safe. No chance he’ll get relegated. Their problem is scoring goals, defensively they’re not too bad.

Let’s hope the bottom 3 stay the bottom 3 come the end of the season, I think they will.

Yes - Sheffield United 2007. Last minute penalty winner for Wigan at Sheff United. Wigan stayed up United went down and tried to get West Ham down as they has broken third party ownership rules.

The bonus is their next two games are Stoke | Hull they then dont play any other relegation rivals

This could actually help us in terms of the Hull game as you'd think there is no chance of them losing that one!!

Their defence was shocking on Saturday, that might have been the tipping point for Gibson. The loss of Ayala might be key
