When do we play Boro? No doubt Woody will be sacked the week before
7th December at their place
They have QPR away Hull and Barnsley at home then Leeds Away before playing us. I can see him getting the boot if they don't get a result against Barnsley
Surely Woodgate has to be next to get the boot? They are terrible at the moment
Yeh well, some of Woody's post match excuses are bizarre. "There's a snake in my boots" 'Somebody poisoned the waterhole"
Agree. Don't understand his excuses myself. Lord Bowyer would never make them excuses if we was in that position. Nathan Jones next boro manager if he hasn't got a job by the time Woodgate does eventually get the boot?

Winning a double and then 18 points from 10 games and doing well in the CL isn't enough I guess
It's not so much the results, (although Kovac had Lewandowski to thank for keeping him in a job longer than he was), but more the fact that their style of play was boring, fans had turned against him, they were leaking goals and there was apparently a lot of unrest in the dressing room.
Paul Heckingbottom sacked by Hibs. I hadn't realised he was up in Scotland, maybe Barnsley will re-employ him!
ibs n arts supposedly 2 of the best 5 scots clubs are both struggling this season .. no surprise both managers have been dumped .. Hecky might have had trouble with the language barrier
Hartlepool United are delighted to announce that we have reached agreement with Dave Challinor to join the Club as our new First Team Manager.
Following an exhaustive process, we identified Dave as an individual who will bring the necessary experience of the National League as well as a work ethic, track record and proven leadership, which we believe are essential ingredients as we seek to mount a serious challenge for promotion.

Just left (was he pushed or did he jump) Fylde who are 6 or so places below Hartlepool in the N L .. Jim Bentley has just left bottom of L2 Morecambe to join Fylde ..whatever, Fylde have a really lovely and new stadium, small but perfectly formed ((:>)

The next Fleetwood?
The North West does seem to have an awful lot of clubs, both the old traditional ones plus the up and coming ambitious ones (Fleetwood, Salford, Flyde). Morecambe themselves haven't been in the league that long.

Fylde got to the play offs against Salford last season .. this season they are (I think) just above the relegation slots .. it's always volatile in the NLs .. someone puts in a good few quid and a team can have a blinding season or two .. the sugar daddy goes, no cash comes in, the good players go and the club nosedives

He makes Lee Clark & Tony Mowbray look like the Chuckle Brothers (as were).

It's great to see a competitive Bundesliga for a change.
He had to go.

Inspired choice or is this a club struggling to get its targets?
Chris Coleman was hot property when Wales manager than took the Sunderland job, a terrible decision for his career
It looks like he'll take the job
O'Neill confirmed
Interestingly he'll take charge if N Ireland have a playoff game
