  • Before losing their owner in the helicopter crash they were a sensible club making sensible decisions which led to a Premier league title, since then they have gradually slipped into nonsensical decisions.

Tim Walter out at Hull after 17 games. The decision to sack Rosenior gets worse and worse

Surely this is a prime Mark Robins job although I wouldn't trust their owners to be that sensible

Just as Coventry would’ve been good for Rosenior
  • Van Nistelrooy to be next Leicester manager

Can't believe Ten Hag is gone. He was doing a great job and should have been given more time

RVN will put himself in the shop window for a decent managers job even though unlikely to be United as every loss is a "disaster" as Ex United players go on about ad nauseam on various TV and social media platforms.

    4 matches later:
Ruud has definitely put himself in the shop window for a Managers job after 3 wins and a draw and the mood just relaxed at United as soon as he was interim.

Great players don't always make great managers but RVN has a chance if he can go to the right club with a decent infrastructure and ambition. I wonder where and at what level that will be at ?
I have a feeling that he probably feels like he's been shafted by United. I suspect when he went to United he must've thought that Ten Hag isn't going to last long so then the job will be mine.
Will have put him into the forefront of people's minds for other jobs.
    I thank you.

He actually got picked up by Strasbourg in Ligue 1 pretty soon after leaving Hull and he has them up in 11th so id say he's probably happy where he is at the moment!

Genuinely had no idea about that! Glad he’s got himself a chance so quickly
  • Lampard in at Coventry.

Does Rayne Wooney last long enough at Plymouth for them to "clash" on Boxing Day?

  • Van Nistelrooy to be next Leicester manager

Unlike Powell he has a 100% record against them
  • This is Bloom, one of two cats belonging (belonging?) to Mike four doors up.
However Bloom is adept at getting what he wants from neighbours, like this picture this morning from in my kitchen where he came in for a treat and a warm up.

  • Surely last chance saloon for him. If he fails there then i can't see him getting another job.

Takes him up to 2026, then maybe an international job for a World Cup cycle to 2030?
Takes him up to the same time as Tuchel's England contract expiry....
Allegedly, rumour now is the Man City case result wont be decided until then, so it'll give him 10 years with City then he can walk away if they get punished.

You could say he'll be sent to Coventry, but he seems to be already there 😉
  • One that seems to have flown under the radar Lee Bowyer at Montserrat (head coach), (apologise if covered). Managing Lyle Taylor again. Surely there is an obsession now

Been mentioned on the LT thread and possibly more. He had Gallen with him at first too before he went to Bermondsey

Been there since September 2023, but I wonder for how much longer. Seven defeats this year and only one win, 1-0 against Bonaire (pop. 25,000), who then reversed that score 3 days later in Montserrat.

5 times bigger population than Montserrat. I am sure it’s a nice gig that allows Bow to continue his fishing etc. Won’t last forever though.
  • Leicester are the new Newcastle - they think they are much bigger than they actually are.
I like the guy but I hope it flops.
  • Rooney is surely on the way out, Plymouth shipping 10 goals in a week.
  • If he does go then there'll be another chairman willing to employ him soon enough.

Plymouth are an odd side in that they are awful away, but competitive at home. The home performances may keep him in a job for a bit.

Their next 2 are at home (Oxford and Swansea) so you'd think he has to be getting minimum 4 points from those to avoid getting sacked.

Can they afford to sack him is the question?
