Maybe they think Hill has taken them as far as they can go?
How weird. No weirder than Forest Green though sacking their manager whole actually in the play off's with all to play for.
Hill is quite a good lower league manager for all that. Back to Rochdale again ?
Reading their fans response to the clubs twitter post announcing it they are pretty much all very happy at Hill being sacked.
Should've probably got automatic promotion but ended up only just sneaking 7th after taking just 11 points from their last 10 games and scoring just 4 goals in their last 9.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/57069049 Tranmere Rovers have sacked manager Keith Hill despite reaching the League Two play-offs, which assistant manager Ian Dawes will take charge for.
Brave move...
Dawes was in temporary charge prior to Hill being appointed and in that time Tranmere won four and drew one of their five games and scored 14 goals in the process. They've only won two of their last 11 matches and scored just seven goals in that time so perhaps their Chairman believed that the writing was on the wall for them and that Dawes might be able to galvanise the side again.
Sorry if this has been mentioned before but the unfolding story of Storey leaving Man United is, quite frankly, staggering.
Why? Have read the BBC report and nothing seems amiss
please enlighten
It's to do with the lack of facilities for the Women at United - unable to shower between training and meals, makeshift portacabins for changing and a tented gym. As opposed to those their male counterparts get and also by comparison with their rivals City who are treated as equals.

Obviously, with demise of the ESL, budgets need to be cut, as these are tough times.

Not comparing in any way but don’t Our men’s team train in a tented gym?

Yeah that's pretty much it, they were effectively forced to move from Carrington because they kept getting told they couldn't train at certain times and were sent off the the Cliff. No hot water etc etc.
Richie Wellens is the new Doncaster Manager, he's having one strange career
He played for them of course, did a great managerial job at Swindon and for some reason the Salford glam pussies sacked him as manager .. I think he'll do a good job at Donny as I rate him as a manager who likes his teams to play good football with an added tough streak
