Non Charlton football shirts - who owned what?

The documentary the other day on Admiral"s heyday brought back some memories of the various kits/shirts I had as a kid. Some chosen by me, some foisted upon me by a relative for Xmas or Birthday in an attempt to sway my allegiance. So let's get the confessions out there and list yours here. I'll start;

Leeds Utd away
West Ham home
Chelsea away
Man Utd away
LA Aztecs home

  • All from the eighties-

    Villa away
    Newcastle home
    Forest away
    Denmark home
    USSR home
  • edited September 2016
My Grandad used to buy me the West Ham kits
    Couple of Man Utd ones
    Rangers
    Holland
    Milan
    Sampdoria
    Liverpool

    All from the 80's

Souness and McAvennie were my favourite players back then.

Always by foreign team merchandise when I'm abroad. Have got untold Valencia stuff.

  • Had a N. Forest home shirt which my mum then sew the Cafc badge over the forest one, think it was Adidas with thin stripes.
  • I was a massive fan of Franco Baresi. Had an AC Milan top that I wore for years until it eventually fell apart.

Also got a Juventus top that I got when going to see them play Lazio that got worn a lot.
  • Ones I can remember from the 70'/early 80's

Arsenal home - A hand me down from a relative
    Scotland 1978 world cup top
    England
    Spurs
    Leeds

There was a shop in Blackfen called San Fernando who used to sell a lot of different cheap kits that weren't quite current.

There was a thing on sky about him (one of these sporting great type programmes - worth a watch if you've not seen it. Quality player.

Nice one Ricky, haven't seen that, will check it out.

  • Spurs home (91 cup final kit)
Chelsea 80s shirt (criss-cross lines design)
Liverpool grey (crown paints and a Candy one)
    AC Milan home (early 90s)
    Real Madrid away (centenary shirt)
    Arsenal goalkeeper (first Nike)

The Liverpool kit made sense, it was from a trip up to Everton (we drew 2-2) when me and dad visited Anfield. I really loved the Spurs kit, so I stand by that. I'm ashamed about the Chelsea one though. It's not even a nice shirt, although I liked it at the time. Still wear the Madrid one to the gym.

Mid 80's I think, it was opposite the lloyds bank, not far from where the bakers is. I may be wrong on the name though thinking about it.

I'd give my right eye for a Melchester shirt.

I had both those Man U kits and that away kit is possibly my favourite kit of all time.
Even had a primary school photo taken wearing that.
