Just bought a adult ticket for the second leg of west ham's europa cup tie next thursday for the same price as it would be for our game v Southampton's kids.....think we need to look at our ticket prices !!!!0

We all know what will happen if there was a winter break. The top clubs would jet off around the world playing some highly profitable matches in the US and the far east, and the players would get barely any additional rest (they may play a game or two less over that 2-3 week period, but they'll be travelling thousands of miles, doing dozens of public appearances, photo-ops, interviews, etc.).
If the FA had any balls they'd agree to a 2 week break, but only if no clubs play any games of any type during that period, and England players report to the FA for 2 days for team-building, non-physical coaching.
They have no jurisdiction.0 -

All I can think is the clubs don't want to give up christmas games revenue, and the TV companies have insisted they still happen. That means any winter break would have to happen after booking day (if the clubs/tv were willing to give up new years day fixtures). It would still then clash with the FA cup 3rd round, so maybe it is the FA that are causing the lack of winter break.

Just fancied going to their new stadium also i have wanted to go to a match as a neautral and have no emotional alligence to either side and enjoy a game for a change !!!!!!!!

It's not their stadium. It's all our stadium.
