I don't think anyone can deny that the way they are playing him is either shop window are already half out the door though.
Or perhaps he just needs managing carefully after not having much of a break all summer. We'll find out soon enough.
Lookman has the upper body physique of a schoolboy. I'm not sure I would have chosen to play him from the start against a very physical/cynical Bolton side. The club probably called it the right way yesterday.
If I was Lookman I would be wanting to play 90 minutes every game at his age. Also I would want to be in a team of similar talented players. Unfortunately, neither will happen at Charlton. I expect to see him gone before the window closes as Duchatelet only understands money and knows nothing nor cares about football.
He hasn't signed for anyone. Arsenal were interested but were put off by the asking price. They might come back in, but that's a guess on my part.
There are a number of clubs interested at PL and Championship level. If a deal is done he won't be going out on loan until Jan (assuming he sings for a PL club).
I'm aware that a summer with England has turned his head. Some players were earning 6x more than him , are training in state of the art facilities and lining up loans to the Championship. He is very open to a move.
My source is on the playing side, so that's as much as I know. I don't know what our valuation is, and because we only speak about Charlton when I see him, I doubt I'll find out any more before the transfer window shuts.
I'm also aware that Tex will be loaned out and the club are actively trying to move him on. He's doing light training to avoid injuries as we're desperate to get his wages off the books. Ideally he'd leave on a permanent deal but no-one is a) willing to offer a fee and b) willing to offer a long term deal that he has here.

No way will be be playing 90 minutes every game if he moves up. Unless you mean for the U18/U23 teams.
4m is a drop in the ocean for almost any Premier League club these days, very low asking price for one of the top English talents outside the top flight. Not surprised, mind. Probably won't get a loan back either as the buyer will want him in the Championship. Depressing.
Going now is a risk Lookman doesn't have to take. It could work out but you only have to look at Poyet. He is the best player we have so he will get games and the support he needs. He is very young so has lots of time. Forgetting about us - it is a very important decision for him and if I was him I would say stay for now and focus on your game and review each window as it comes! That is the advice I would give him if I was his agent anyway!

if we should be getting at least 5 mil plus add ons then why arent other clubs - say chelsea, spurs etc etc diving in and just taking him under arsenal's nose? so much blinkered twaddle talked on here - like cousins - if he was worth more than 1.5 mil, he would have gone for more.

Charlton not received any money yet.
Still don't get it.

Because the vicious bitch in charge will enjoy Pissing us off more than anything
Fuck sake can CARD not enact a snap operation where we hold him hostage until 11pm Wednesday or something so he physically cannot leave
(I could never be an agent).
