  • Charlton U21s return to home soil on Tuesday afternoon, hosting Sheffield United at Sparrows Lane (KO 2pm BST).

The fixture was set to be played at The Valley, however we can confirm that the venue has been changed.

Valley Gold members can attend Tuesday’s fixture, free of charge, as authorised by Training Ground security.

Fans can also follow live updates of the clash via @CharltonAcademy on X, and read a full match report on the club website following the fixture.

  • Here’s how our U21s line-up in this afternoon’s PDL2 fixture against Sheffield United: T.Reid; Toure, Hunter, Laqeretabua; Hobden, Kedwell, Gough, Fullah; Mwamba, Casey, Huke

Subs: Woodham, Brown, Rylah, R.Reid, Sol-Loza
  • Probably means Dixon is still in the squad tonight.
  • Bugger that got to the Valley to find the game moved to the training ground.
  • Odd to have so many U21 games played on the same day as the 1st team are playing. It means that the NJ and his first team coaching staff have no chance of watching the U21s.

I got a message this morning to say it was moved, don't know if that was just Valley Gold mailing list.
  • I wonder if Bower is injured or trialling elsewhere... it's the time of season he could be if his contract is up.

  • 96th minute!
  • The ref had a poor game and conjured up 8 minutes of extra time.

Charlton were playing against a very strong wind in the second half.
