Roddy did a nice skill in the build up to Rylah crossing to Chin,
Received the ball tightly marked made it look like he was cutting back his run but managed to play the ball into a team mate and continued his run leaving the Cardiff bloke looking lost and shocked.
Roddy actually looking a lot better than I remember, could be the level, could be that he's filled out a bit.
2-0 WIN Rapid Rylah seals the points by gifting Kanu a goal as Cardiff have two goals disallowed for offside and then miss two gilt edged chances at the death.
Amazing last 60 seconds, Cardiff hit the post and have one scrambled away, Charlton break 2 on 1 and Kanu slams it home with the last kick of the game.
A game of 2 halves doesn't come close. Cardiff completely dominant first half, although Charlton should have scored, it was ruled out for offside, but there was really no need for the player to be offside, he'd found the space well and the extra few inches didn't really change the chance. Second half all Charlton for long periods, scored one well worked goal, should have had a couple more before finally getting the dramatic second.
how do we go from giving them 3 chances to score in the box then score a 2nd all in the last minute. a very different 2nd half. I know the Cardiff commentators thought Rylah, motm, but for me it was Mitchel in defense
These watches of a quiet midweek afternoon have probably been the best aspect of the season. It is absorbing and interesting football, played like the sport it is without contamination.
Pretty decent coverage on the Cardiff YouTube channel, given that it's provided free. Great to have the opportunity to see the u-21s play, even if it was just a few minutes here and there between online meetings.
Kanu just played a good ball for Rylah who lashes a cross across goal, Adigun can't get power on it.
That's great to hear. For those that weren't aware, his old man, Danny, used to be a bit of a Welling United legend. An old fashioned battering ram of a centre forward who went on to play for Gillingham and was prolific at the likes of Wimbledon and Ebsfleet either side of his three years in the Football League.

So Zach Mitchell played well I can assume. He’s one player I have high hopes for.

Cardiff always step well up to the mark for making these matches accessible. I am thankful to them. was it last season we saw something like a 5-4 to us?

Mitchell, Kedwell and Rylah probably our three top performers.
Chin works bloody hard, but creates extra work for himself.
Injury in the last minute to Harvey Kedwell did not look to good at the time but after the Cardiff City doctor and both clubs medical staff looked at his ankle it was only bruising and no damage.

Harvey's cousin's (Danny's nieces( play in my team. One in goal and one in defence. In fact one of them is my captain and a cracking player. Danny came down and did a session with my strikers. He's over at Chatham Town now. Interesting genetics isn't it?

1-0 to us.

Roddy has grown. He's a foot taller than I remember. Or everyone on this pitch is small?

2-0 WIN

Kedwell down injured at the end after a good tackle that led to Chin releasing the ball to Rylah for him to feed Kanu.
