A Swindon mate tells me there was a hold up over the terms and conditions of the transfer payment as they needed cash up front to buy a goalkeeper from Liverpool who'd been on loan to them last year.

No guarantees with any transfer and what he does for us will be all that counts, but when the last time we paid the going market rate for an in form striker from the same division as us?
BWP maybe but I think we got a bit of a deal on him. Bent was signed from the division below so slightly more of a punt.
