That is class, well done Harvey! @Chizz don't be a bellend, no one is laughing at his disability and you are the only one bringing it up. What is your issue with disabled people? You're clearly bringing attention to it for no reason but to highlight the fact that he is disabled, not on.

So, if the whole hilarity is based around someone saying the word "cunt" on telly and has nothing to do with the fact that he's disabled, then I wholeheartedly agree: it's neither offensive nor objectionable. It's just not very funny.

The insult wasn't called for, though.

You just have something against disabled people. Can one of the mods get rid of his comments please

Fine, if @Leuth won't do it then I guess I'LL have to be the bleeding heart godless liberal who gets offended at everything.*

I just don't think it's that funny. I mean how childish are we that we're still laughing every time someone says a naughty word on telly?

I also know almost nothing about the back story here, other than that she's a daytime talkshow host. As someone seeing this clip without context, it feels a little bit exploitive of someone who is mentally challenged--kind of asking them questions to see if you can get them to say sensationalistic things. But then it sounds like the host is his mother, and really, "getting people to say/do sensationalistic things" is kind of the MO of daytime talk shows.

@Chizz good for you for speaking up because something doesn't sit right. I've been there it's not easy, I applaud you for it.

    *said very tongue-in-cheek.

It's funny at first but then you realise how sad it is. Not content with living her own life in a vile and disgusting way, she's brought up her children to be exactly the same.

I couldn't disagree more. She may not be everybody's cup of tea, but I think, when it comes to doing the "right" thing - ie looking after her kids, her family - I think her heart is in the right place.

It seems that Harvey has been "trolled" and I applaud her for attempting to put a stop to it. Maybe she has gone about it in a slightly odd way, but I am not going to criticise her mothering skills. I don't know what it's like to bring up a blind, disabled child, as a single parent. If anyone else is better experienced at it than I am and can say she's doing a bad job then let them.

John Humphrys calling a Jeremy Hunt a "cunt" on Radio 4 was a *bit* funny. Because it was John Humphrys, because it was Jeremy Hunt and because it was Radio 4. This just wasn't very funny at all - it's all context, as far as I am concerned.

Rather than splitting hairs on Jordan being a decent parent, how can this thread get to page 2 without anyone else slating York a bit more? I genuinely thought it was just a rumour that he was Harvey's father, but it seems it's no secrete and indeed, common knowledge. It would be bad enough if there was no disability, but the fact that the little lad is the way he is, makes it all the more worst. York needs a firm kick in the bollocks twice daily for the way he has acted, or hasn't acted as it were.

    Again, useless c*nt

We need a button that isn't a LOL or a flag but something in between. I'd have about 4000 of them by now mind

I don't think that she was expecting her son to come out with something sensational, more something defiant that might act as an inspiration for others in his situation. In fact, both things occurred. Similarly, I don't think the comedy comes from just the word - it comes from the phrase, which is magnificent

Right thing? I know she's repeatedly denied causing Harvey's condition so you can make your own mind up about that but there are plenty of things you don't need to make your own mind up about. Didn't she call her daughter 'Princess'? And has she not introduced them all to a string of men, marrying some, having one night stands with some and having further kids with others? She chose to live her life in the spotlight like an open wound for all to see which is her prerogative; she's free to do that if she wants. However, that's the difference between her and her children; she chose to live her life in front of cameras, her children didn't.

Well, you say that, but having looked into this in much depth and having undertaken many very meticulous surveys on this exact point (courtesy of the trust), I would offer up three possible alternative views on this.

    1. It's very serious, very serious indeed.
    2. I cannot stress point 1, above, enough.
    3. You, Sir, are a ravenous cock hungry attention seeking publicity whore, who's first and only aim in life is to submerge yourself in the reflective glory of our esteemed leader, St Katherine of Meire. I now call you out as a bounder, charlatan and down right rogue.

Now, I may have had a couple, but my money's on 2.

    By God, what a thread.

Quite a few experts who haven't the slightest clue what they are talking about.

For the record I thought it was hilarious and Harvey is a good lad.

    As for Pricey ......

I resent Jordan, I'm a cunt and I don't get paid for it! However, she can clearly separate Katie Price and Jordan and clearly loves the kid to pieces. It's getting well over analysed by everyone, I let out the occasional swear word when I was a kid and got an earful for it and I don't doubt that he did and it wasn't shown either... There ain't a lot I wouldn't do if the price is right, and having a kid would amplify that

The poor lad is simply reflecting the times. This word was completely taboo a decade ago, the ultimate swear word. Now just like f*ck, it seems to be going mainstream. It was very rarely, if ever, used on this forum, but now seems to pop up in 30% of threads, particularly those involving Roland & Katrien. Now I'm no prude and loved Derek & Clive as much as any lad of my era, however certain words were out of bounds when in the company of children or women. We now seem to have entered an age where standards have dropped to the point where anything goes and all barriers are being torn down. I know some on here will think that's great, but I think the world is a better place when we live according to certain standards.

THIS..... My only fear is that it gets over used and over commercialised, which is why We, the Englsih speaking world, need to find another really offensive, 1 syllable word (Having one syllable helps to drive the word home imo and ending in NT also gives it a bit of an edge).
