I wholeheartedly agree with you, That's why we go to him in Belgium. He is the number one target but he is a nightmare to pin down.
We have some stuff planned though mate so don't worry he will get his just deserves.
Inbox @The_President if you are up for targeting Roland.
Didn't know you'd been to Belgium.
You obviously don't read the Evening Standard.
DIdnt know you'd been to Gosport ! - you should've popped in !
I should have, it would have been a breather on the pig of a walk from the ferry.
Do you have any anti-Duchatelet t-shirts?
I may be getting you mixed up with whoever else who had some in The Oak?
EA - yeah its a fair old walk from The Ferry to Privett Park - i could have given you a lift - as i live very close to the Ferry - plus advised on a couple of little hidden gems in Gosport for a drink or two ! - this being one of them....http://www.theboathousegosport.co.uk/ hey,ho - next time.
You might have had a chat with me at the Oak, i was there with a anti RD T-shirt on v Boro (was in Belgium for Brighton game) and Grim Reaper for Burnley ! - i do have a Duchatelet out T-Shirt somewhere- if i find one , i'l save it for you, but one of the blokes also to get in touch with re anti-RD T-Shirts is @miserableoldgit
I think that the quicker we can get some people over to Belgium to actually find Roland and tell him what we think the better, otherwise we will be starting the season with a team of academy players then we sure will do a Blackpool.
We know where he lives in St Truiden already. However, its more than likely going to be one of many properties.
What about doing Uzpest?
Great to tie in some groundhopping.
Yeah, i'm up for Ujpest. Though some were mentioning Alcorcon to be the next - for obvious reasons.
I'm good on the travel side of things if you want some guidelines.
I'll add you on to the (ever) growing list of people wanting to be part of the next overseas trip.

I can remember what's been posted so far but wasn't there so can't comment on how complete this is or whether the actual words used are completely accurate:
Ring doorbell. Man answers.
'Hi, are you Mr Meire?' 'Yes' 'Do you know Katrien Meire?' 'Um no.' 'Ok, Katrien is the CEO of my football club, Charlton, and we do not think she is doing well. Here is a leaflet explaining the issue.' 'Thanks, goodbye'
Just a thought.. maybe there's some hidden promises in this for Katrien... if Roland kicks the bucket, maybe this will be RD's departing gift to her. The other clubs and assets to his many a sons and daughters.
She has something else in this, it's not just a job, it just wouldn't add up her staying if it was - because the money would be gettable from RD elsewhere in the parachute of clubs, even behind the scenes.
So the story was that she was a Sint Truiden Fan and applied for a job but there are cracks in that? if she was a "successful lawyer" why bother? she then said she wanted to help with legal stuff, but we heard from Sint Truiden fans that her father and Roland were close, this raised eyebrows! we then saw photos of them together at football matches and stuff all mates shaking hands smiling drinking etc... etc... so we done some more digging and it seems that they knew each other before Katrien was at Sint Truiden.
The whole story starts unraveling - so we thought lets add him to the mix. we also had a backup plan that if her mum answered the door we would just say oh sorry i think i have the wrong house, I'm looking for an English couple that came to this neighborhood blah blah blah.
Basically it is such a small place where she lives and where her parents live that everyone knows everything. also in Sint Truiden they are all so friendly and everyone knows all about the inner workings of the Club. I guess if you own a restaurant/Bar across from the stadium then you get to hear a lot of stuff.
Also in the stadium the staff are all very open and dont like the owner either. They openly call him the snake and stuff.
I think that's why I'm so passionate about our work in Belgium and harp on a lot about it. i really see it as the quickest way for them to say "fuck this I'm done" I know a lot of people thought the pres went over the line and all that, but honestly that's what is needed to get these people to leave, all of us agree we will be peaceful and legal but if it has to get personal then so be it!
I will tell you this as well there has been several excellent ideas floating around regarding ways to target them legally and they have all been scrapped since the reaction from our fans. the last thing we want is to upset them.
The problem we have now is we dont know what is acceptable and what isn't, and we cant ask openly on the forum because that defeats the point.
So i dont know where the Belgian protest can go from here.
You could run ideas past a number of posters privately to canvass views.

Maybe, Or she feels she will never get this opportunity again?, i.e. to run a Billionaires Company in London - if she makes a 'success' of it, he'll look after her forever. Cant see any other reason why she should still be here - after all, would you take the flak that we have been throwing at her for the past few months and not walk away? In a strange sort of way, I sorta admire her.
I wish people would stop feeling sorry for her - she's two faced and a thoroughly nasty piece of work. Happy to shaft nearly the entire fanbase of our club along with RD and then plays the victim card when it suits her. If she had any decency or cared about anyone else she would have resigned because she's so useless.
She needs to go because she's incompetent - we need a proper CEO.

I think you should be very careful re future Belgium visits not to gift negative material to the Regime. I think that, presented in the right light they do add something to the overall protests and have highlighted the depth of feeling and commitment among supporters, however I personally believe that hitting Roland in the pocket and producing negative publicity, sympathetic to our cause is what has worked so far.
I think you need to think every protest through in terms of how the press might spin it.
No doubt I am preaching to the choir on this.
I agree @IAgree , there have been one or two doubtful decisions made, but we have learnt from these
I swear I've read that line before??
Here it is: This is not the time for excuses. We apologise for our mistakes and now need to learn from them so that we can put firm foundations in place for the future that ensure the long-term stability of the club.
New song for next season - to the tune of the Danny Murphy song when we beat pool 2 nil but adding a Karien in! You can stick you uncle Roland up your arse! Katrien! you can stick your Uncle Roland up your arse! You can stick your ......................

A suggestion. Private message 10-20 people on here, that you know are sensible and will also keep schtum.
I'm happy to be one of them and could suggest other names if required.
I was going to suggest pretty much the same thing. It's good that you and the rest are thinking carefully and believe approval of majority vote is the best way to know what you should and shouldn't do.
Inbox some objective thinkers, people you can trust but obviously ones that are not friends or in on it.
Personally I'm over the whole parent visit thing. Who cares now. My only concern at the time was about invasion of privacy, but that was hardly an issue...Meire has, in a different kind of way, done that exact to our club. She is not wanted here. I now think it was a good move and it obviously rattled her. I'm sure the Belgian 20 are self assured enough to know they wouldn't have taken it further or done anything illegal.
Why should he get involved? He has his businesses to run. He gave Charlton to Miere as her toy so it is her way as far as he is concerned until she has had enough.
Always thought the network model was Rolands? So surely he has always been involved! Katrien is just a puppet running part of his experiment for him. Do you really think she is completely autonomous?
And it's up to us to drive her out, given she won't go quietly and has the hide of a rhinoceros. We are close to the point where pretty much anything legal and not morally indefensible goes ...

Or it could be that even she knows she has utterly buggered this opportunity up so she's staying while she cleans up search engines, gets herself out and about in the business community and can play her favourite "I'm a woman in a man's world" card in the hope she finds someone else as stupid as Duchatalet to hire her.
Certainly not felt a shred of sympathy for her since January.

The thing is that while Roland owns us we won't get a "proper" CEO just somebody else to do Roland's bidding. Whoever took her place might be a smoother operator but they still wouldn't have Charlton's best interests at heart. It's fun winding Katrien up and her outburst the other day helps our cause because it gets people interested in getting rid of the regime. The main focus however must be Roland.

It wasn't illegal.
