The Trust were told by Meire and Murray in a meeting last week that Duchatelet was aware of the level of discontent. Obviously not.
Just another inconsistentcy that exposes all the bullshit PR. Duchatelet has not changed and it does not bode well for the next season, if this meglomaniac moron is still in place.
The surprising thing is that in the internet age that Duchatelet thinks that Charlton supporters won't pick up on it. The inconsistency of the regime media approach ends up laying bare that they are unlikely to change their approach or have learned anything at all.
The "10,000 or 15,000 fans in the stadium who have not argued" would love to see you again on Saturday to express our appreciation for all you have done for us - its been so long since we have seen you, so show some of the pluck for which Belgians are so famous. It will make our day.
Yours in quivering expectation _ i'm sure we can keep the 200 malcontents in order. Colin is really looking forward to your visit so that he can thank you personally.
I think we may well have to all move to Belgium at this rate...
He seems to be:-
1/ a five year old 2/ a moron 3/ deluded
Very hard to get through to, and surrounds himself by "yes men" ... hmm... I think we may need to do some deeper thinking here, how do we crack a delusional, unengaged, non empathetic, faux maverick, He strikes me very much as the the Dunning-Kruger syndrome...
PS Mandy has promised a nice tea with lts of your favourite waffles.
Mandy's booking Roly's tickets for our play-off games later this month. She's pretty safe though - the silly old twat will turn up at The Riverside and cheer the reds on all the way to Wembley.
I am sitting in my bed typing this - I look to the wall on my left and I have a framed signed Charlton shirt on the wall, next to it I have a picture of SuperClive and the play off trophy on his head. If I were to get up, I would see another framed signed shirt in the passage, also a cartoon of Rufus (my favourite player), the team photo after the play off final and framed photos of my son when he was a mascot. We also have a framed picture of my son when he was a baby, wearing a Redbus Charlton shirt prior to his christening in the boardroom. I haven't mentioned everything. At my wedding, I insisted on one of the tunes played being Valley Floyed road.
I am nearly 52 and have been watching Charlton since I was 11. I have bought VIP shares and been a Valley Gold member since it's inception (cancelled it last month). I have been a season ticket holder for goodness knows how long and over the last 6 or 7 years, my wife and son have been season ticket holders. I love this club! So Mr Duchatelet, please, please ask yourself why I have not renewed my season ticket?
If a supporter like me has done this, somebody who went to all the Selhurst games to support the team, surely it is a clue that something is badly wrong. And I don't claim to be special or unique (not weird). I know that many other fans feel exactly the same. Some even bigger Charlton nuts than me! To achieve this detachment is incredible for all the wrong reasons. Please understand Mr Duchatelet why you have failed! Oh well - off to work - broken hearted.
Only Charlton Athletic could be bought by a self-made successful half Euro-billionaire and within 48 months turn into an absolute Jabberwocky jelly cluster fuck of a football club.
I watched the History of Charlton video posted on another thread here with a lump in my throat and a deal of pride. But, add this little chapter to it and i can safely say there are more ups and downs in our history than in a 70's porno and WE are going down for the last time, hold your breath and think of England lads n lasses!
Don't tell anyone, but it was within 24 months that the transformation was complete, the relegation merely confirmed it.
Sorry, I timeshifted to 2018 and we are now in the Conference...

For the record, as Airman has already correctly pointed out: the quote by RD in that article was recycled from an interview published online on 15 November 2015.
As it referred to a cafe at Stayen formally opened on 14/11, the interview took place in the aftermath of the appointment of Fraeye (25/10) and the loss at the Franchise on 3/11 and probably the home win against the Wendies on 7/11. Obviously, the protests were on a much smaller scale then.
To quote it again without making that clear was poor journalism, whatever the motive.

Unfortunately in this grand plan the club seems to have forgotten that not do the under 11s attend by themselves.
Of course we could just ban all the dads and let the kids in supervised after having turned crossbars into a bingo hall for the mums...
Every time.
