That’s what I thought but my son seems to think he’s going and the club put out this earlier today

It's being played in Danson park, jumpers for goal posts. Supporters being asked to bring  decent quality torches as no floodlights in the park.

Popped down to Chatham Town last night. Very impressive stadium.
Welling started with what appears to be there starting back 4, with the remainder being trialists.
won 4-1 and took there goals very well.
Now that the academy players are linked to the first team, leaves Welling far more options.
Some of the youngsters look very sharp.
Taking the family to Somerset for the start of August for a long weekend and as luck would have it, Welling area away to Taunton :-)
    Some great youngsters coming through..

The new pitch cutting up in some areas. Park end 6 yard box needs to be relaid.
Looks like the park end stand will remain closed for the coming season
  • Heard there having some flats built at the ground and also getting a tescos Express, every little helps!

Going to slip a number of signed programmes in amongst the general release.
Could something like this work at Charlton?
Good marketing idea in my opinion
