We really need those in charge of Target20k to rethink their 'operation', the Club seem to be using it with nothing in return - I would be completely up for this and dedicate time or money to the cause WHEN Roland has sold up and we need to start to re-build. What we have with Op 20k right now is us fans bashing down a wall and Target20k members sticking back up the odd brick.
Of they were to get KM to go on the pitch at half time and publicly 'stick her fucking sofa up her arse' (sideways optional) I think we would get 20000 in the ground!
Another meeting today with KM and her cronies. See they wheeled in Slade to soften you all up. Surprised it wasn't Jacko. Next time eh? You really are making it easy for her aren't you?
I know how they could get 20k in the stadium. Get Roland over to do an interview where he mentions he'll be at the match on Saturday. I'm sure plenty of people would turn up then. I certainly would. I'd even be tempted to get one of those more expensive seats in the west Lowe nice and near the directors box...

The sad fact is that you cant climb a steep high wall with nothing to grip on to. I find it incredible that there is a Target 20k at this moment in time. By all means when the trajectory starts moving upwards, but frankly, it is embaressing as it stands. The mere fact that it is so ridiculous tells me that none of the people willing to put their name to this impossible mission will have the ability to actually improve attendances.
The group has one use IMO. When we get new owners and a target 20k might be a realistic aspiration. We will know a group of fans who we won't want a million miles from the meaningful work of improving attendances. A group of deluded fans who didn't have the judgement to know Target 20k in 2016 is a ridiculous notion.
I believe that will will only get 20k+ back at the valley if the product is right (the team). Build it and they will come....
However I went to a Rugby match for the first time the other week to watch the Harlequins at the stoop. What a great pre and post match experience. Behind the stand there was a singer, many different food outlets as well as a wide variety of beers and ales. The kids were being looked after with a mini farm , flags were being handed out. Everybody was encouraged to stay behind after the match. It was a great day out. I think football could learn a thing or two here.
Live music, flags? Guessing there was music after every try too? If that was to happen at the valley I'd give up on football altogether. Think you'd like it down palace mind.
I've done the same at times at the Quins and it's a lot easier to get my family there (party because of the way fans are treated, partly because the 'product' is of a higher standard). Not for football, I absolutely agree, but while we can knock it, it's more appealing than a bloody sofa and a DJ in the bar before a game.

Create a PDF at the start of the season that states the day tickets for each match will be put on sale.
Brighton produced one for the last two seasons for home and away matches.
Give up
