Hopefully, Riga has had the ones not on international duty (ie almost all of them) working on how to defend at corners etc, so this previously fragile area will now be one of our strengths. If only we can also start getting shots, ideally on target, then all will be well again.

Only person of note who would have been away on International Duty was Johann (Shame as he could do with practicing corners)
After Tuesday's game, so should James Milner!

  • Two home wins in the trot, is that possible? Maybe, Brum are nothing special. More likely a frustrating goalless draw which will not appease the Charlton thousands gathered at the Valley...or not
  • Morrison to score a least 2 from corners. Can't see us winning this unless we put defenders on the line (which we have not done all season). 2-2
  • if only Reza could match the mathematical perfection of his facial hair with any sort of similar perfection in his football, he wouldn't be a totally useless twat.

  • Presumably now Kashi is running again he will be sprinting to his agent's office to secure a prompt summer exit.

Really don't care much about the result but good luck to CARD with the balloons..

Yes he is running away from the disaster zone as quickly as he can manage!
  • Genuinely nervous for today in a way I haven't been for a while. No idea what to expect. I'd start Mak up front with Igor. Spector is susceptible to big players, and Morro can be gotten at with pace, so the ability to try to create those match-ups is huge. Plus, they clearly link up well together.

It feels like a result today could start a run-in to safety, and a loss could see us go down with a whimper.

    ......Pope
    Motta....Fanni....Tex....Fox
    JBG....Cousins (C)....Diarra....Yun
    ..........Mak....Igor

Subs: Mitov, Bauer, Solly, Jackson, Harriot, Ceballos, Lookman
