My girlfriends brother is his best mate . He Certainly has potential. Lives in welling
That was quality sharp has good potential for sure and a fun fighter to watch. Hopefully Warren puts him out local next time and I will get down there.
Generally don’t have an issue with Matchroom but Eddie Hearn is ruining the careers of good British boxers by making terrible mis matches due to his American dream.
McDonnell and Johnson suffer heavy defeats in one night.
The worst thing is I have to wake up in the middle of the night to witness it!
UK tv deal for the WBSS hasn’t been finalised in time for the first fights. So the opening quarter finals from Japan will be streamed live on the WBSS website, their Facebook page and their YouTube channel! Relikh/Troysnovsky & Inoue/Payano Live from midday today.
BJS denied his boxing license in Massachusetts and set to be stripped of his title. Gutted for him tbh, not sure what grounds they can deny it on if the BBBOC said that he hasn’t broken any rules. Be interesting how this will go as I can’t see Warren accepting it lying down
If Amir does what he is capable of he could utterly humiliate Brook. Problem is he hasn't shown me anything to suggest he learns from his mistakes. I think he would have to weather an early storm of big punches from Kell and I don't think he is evasive enough to do that with someone like Brook who could hurt him.
If he sticks to a proper plan and tactically picks Brook off towards the end of rounds he will romp it. Brook hasn't looked the same since Golovkin damaged him in the mismatch of the century
WBC to introduce 'on the night weigh ins' to prevent fighters rehydrating too much that it makes a mismatch. Obviously fights would still go ahead but a percentage based fine would be due.
Brook v Khan rumoured for Jan/Feb at 147. Apparently Khan wants a clause in which restricts Brook to 10lbs weight gain between weigh-in and fight.
If this was made at catch weight of 150, Brook smashes Khan. At 147 I think Brook struggles, will fade if it goes beyond 6.
Yes, good luck with that Amir! Two weigh-ins eh?
Brook beats Khan - even at welter.
This one will split the pundits
Brook goes out to KO khan inside 3 -4 100% that’s going to be his aim anger pride and the need to humiliate khan will drive the not very bright Kel brook to go all out attack
Khan being only slightly brighter than brook and has definitely been in with the greater opposition and the greater sparring camps fight camps will be too quick early on for brook to land clean often enough to set up the finish that’s my opinion in the first 3rd
Once we get to 4-8 the cards are definitely stacked in khans favour , I don’t believe Kel will make weight well and hopefully the rumours about his Gym are unfounded (but there seems to be an issue there ) this is where I see khan breaking him down and putting a beat upon him
8-12
Brook recovery starts as khan starts to Gas
Verdict Draw
Eddie cleans up on the trilogy that will take place
I see the rumors are that Whyte will fight Ortiz in a WBC title eliminator in December, has one man ever had more eliminators without actually getting a title fight than Whyte?
He won his first WBC eliminator and since then is fighting guys in the top 15 so his WBC silver title (and effectively his eliminator/number 1 position) is on the line each time he fights What is crazy is that since then the WBC have refused to make him a mandatory challenger to Wilder. They've already confirmed the next mandatory for Wilder is Dominic Breazeale (who has only fought once in the last 18 months, beating Molina a year ago).

Much prefer a good O2 night.

Martin Bakole v Michael Hunter
I don’t like joe Joyce but he would batter bakole
Both fighters leaving themselves so open
