  • 4 stone heavier than Usyk is insane
  • 4 stone heavier than Usyk is insane
You have to assume that he's thinking of just using his size/height advantage to try and just bomb Usyk out early on as he's going to start gassing later on at that weight, and Usyk showed he's got the conditioning and smarts to come on strong in later rounds the first time.

Loads of the press out in Saudi saying he had come in in great shape when he's ended up at that weight is hilarious
  • Wasn’t he wearing a full outfit as part of the weigh in?  All part of the mind games he could bags of sugar in his pockets 😀

Proper 50/50 fight I want to back Tyson but Usyk is just a machine he wears fighters down and not sure Tyson has the stamina so would predict a Round 10/11 Usyk Ko when Tyson knows he might be beat
  • I think Fury will win this, can't see how he's 4 stone heavier
  • I think Fury will win this, can't see how he's 4 stone heavier
Given his dimensions and the fact he is generally an outlier in terms of his speed, footwork (that still makes me wince but it works) and technique where someone that size lands even what you'd call an arm punch on someone is going to do a lot of damage and his frame can carry the additional timber. I think the most uncomfortable Usyk has looked as against Fury but mainly in that Chisora fight which granted was his first at heavyweight where he was being manhandled. Now he has grown into the weight I think it is a far harder task to do that to him but that and the added weight of punches must be what Fury is going for. Could be shit or bust, could be that Tyson Fury really is the enigma code machine for boxing and knows more than all of us and Oleksander Usyk combined
  • I think Fury will be much more aggressive this time round and will try to get a KO.
But if he can't achieve this in the first 5 or 6 rounds I can see him running out of ideas in the second half of the fight and losing on points.
Can't see Fury getting stopped though.

Uzyk all day long for me . The only way Fury wins is a knock out in the first few rounds and that’s not ever happened to Uzyk. That extra weight is going to really tell if it goes to the latter rounds and I’m also not convinced that Fury is in a good place at the moment .
Uzyk to win on points .
  • Sorry to be cynical but I reckon it's set up for a third fight

That said, the earlier rounds of the first fight were ones that Fury mostly won, he took his foot off the gas and started showboating and it cost him... but at first he genuinely had Usyk on the back foot.
So he might be thinking start the same way but with more weight and power to try and just bulldoze Usyk early doors and get the win that way.
Of course Usky will probably also have learned lessons from the first time so it might not work out twice but the logic isn't totally ridiculous (albeit I personally don't expect it to work.)

  • Looking like a potential upset here between Allen and Fisher.

That decision is an absolute joke. Dave Allen won that by 2/3 rounds.

Commentators are being far too polite about it.
  • Boxing as rigged as ever. Joke.
  • Itauma looks an exciting prospect though.
  • Really close fight. Some of those early rounds were very hard to score
  • Usyk 4-3 for me, and he normally dominated the late rounds.
  • Last 3 to Usyk for me. So starting to edge it

Yep, feels like Usyk will be happy with how the fight is progressing
  • Usyk outworking him pretty handily. Fury looks gunshy and a bit puzzled.
  • Fury better that round. Have Uysk up by a couple.

    Great fight.

Always think Fury looks like he loves fighting. Doesn't look like he's enjoying himself tonight.
  • Usyk doing what he does and finishing much stronger but Fury has done well, it's certainly a close fight
  • 9&10 to fury
  • 11th usyk
  • I have it 6-5 Usyk going into the last
  • Fury has looked so much better than the last fight in this one. Not sure who wins this personally.
  • Fury needs a KO to win this for me.

Been a great fight, but Uysk has just shaded it by being busier and cleaner.
  • Back to clinching there. One moment Fury looked to have Usyk hurt but he didn't press on.
  • Unless someone is knocked out, it's going to be a draw. Promoters will want a 3rd fight.
Yeah this is all set for a third fight, Usyk wins for me but honestly they both did well
