  • Should imagine the open top bus parade is about to finish soon.

Imo all busses in Sheffield should be open top !

  • ''Wednesday brought on the big guy, Nuhiu, and he immediately caused us problems.''

Just like our big guy does NOT!
I still believe Roland pics Reza, if you go back to the infamous Sheff Utd cup 6th rnd.
Powell ordered to play Reza, only used him as late sub.
Sacked the next day! Roland has really f---ed us!!!
  • Well at least the rat will be happy, going down and Reza gets a game.

How that bloke is anywhere near a squad number, let alone getting a start baffles me, absolutely useless prick, mind you that goes for the rat and Riga as well.

Hang on they all start with the letter R and so does Relegation!

Dont worry mate.... Theres people in the back seats of the east stand who berate Makienok even when he scores who dont say fuck all about reza, who is in my opinion after steve jones the worst player in my years of watching charlton
  • I'll say it's about the Wednesday fans. I was in their North stand and was listening to the vibe.

One big common theme was 'if we go up, we'll be cannon fodder'

Along with 'where are half this lot most weeks'

I was talking to a lad at half time in the beer queue who was of the first opinion. He was stating how much he was realistic and would take competing in division 2 and being able to get a ticket to the derbies fairly easily. He told me if you went up it'd just be more away games he couldn't get a ticket to. I wish we had that problem!

Kieran Lee was getting pelters and Nuihu was greatly appreciated. As much as I hate seeing him give our two pussies a going over he is exactly what Makienok isn't. Annoyingly

Nuihu would've be a decent replacement for Yann. We got Polish Pete instead.
  • "Don't think any of us gave a damn that we only finished 2nd. We'd just beaten our actual rivals to promotion, closing a massive gap in the process.
They're extremely bitter that no one in the country gave a poo poo that they won the league at a canter. Was all about the Wednesday being back"

    Hahahaha

What you guys are missing is the fact United were five points clear zzzzzzzz
    Nobody fucking cares.

I'd forgotten about their open top bus and the tin pot they awarded themselves, so thanks for the hilarious reminder.

Sheff W were there for the taking. The fact that we were shit doesn't take that away. Rotherham would've beaten them.

But the real reason The Blunts imploded was losing their best player to a stretch in prison.

  • I love beating Wednesday but only as much as any other club we play.....other than the Knuckle Draggers, palARSE or one of the big London clubs. Obviously there was a bit of rivalry in the promotion year, it seems a few on our side and a few more on your side have taken this and turned it into something nastier.

Of course, but still nobody cares.

Clicked on both links. First time on Owlstalk for 4 years. To the Wendies -are they always that wound up? Can't be good for their blood pressure.

Pig, if "We like beating Wednesday" is offensive to you, that's really your problem. Other than that, one idiot pretend hard man. That much is obvious. I would say he embarrassed himself, but that's probably been the highlight of his week.

On the other link, they mention that there's no Charlton fans on Owlstalk any more. That's probably because we don't care about them...

Also, there's a few of them congratulating themselves for booing Johnnie Jackson. Tinpot.
No one cares mate ...get over it lol

  • "F*cking w*nkers.

What a pathetic, clueless bunch of lobbers they truly are. Consistently bring god awful away followings wherever they go.

    The laughing stock of London.

Up the f*cking Owls - huge 3 points all things considered."....... Ouch!!

I know mate, completely unnecessary hatred aimed towards us. now I know how you lot feel. I guess that's where you get the insecurities from which makes you lash out at others. it all makes so much sense now.
  • Hey millwall, we are bearing you now as the laughing stock of the football world.

Our owners ambitions are massive and no spanner can pretend to be a part of the biggest shitfest in football any more, we are way shitter than you.

They didn't say we had to compete for promotion... Just that we'd be competitive....

Not sure I like competing for shittest run club in the UK.

One more thing, look how Wednesday have gradually progressed with half-decent management and investment since their return from League One. With us. Roland, we are an utter shambles with you around. Time to go.

Carlos Carvahal (sp) is another inexperienced Manager who doesnt know the Championship...

Difference is Senior Management didnt sack him the moment Wednesday went on a bad run and they concentrated on signing players with experience here in England along with foreign imports
This. We do this with both players and managers, and it is incredibly frustrating. The mixture needs experience in the England/UK and we tend to be light on that (or just have players who aren't quite good enough--RoJo), but you do need to give players and managers time to settle as long as they show brightness and promise. Very few settle in 3-4 months, but how many have we shipped out when they struggled to settle?

There are a handful of managers who you can point at as having consistent success in this league (Bruce, McCarthy, Warnock, McDermitt, Allardyce, etc.), but a lot of teams go outside of the "old boys club" and have success. Boro, Huddersfield, Brighton, and Sheff Wed are all good examples of clubs that tried traditional British managers, then looked further abroad (no pun intended) and found success.

It's the only competition we are likely to do well in unless Roland sells.

And you're right, you shouldn't like being in that competition or even being close to it.

What's even more shit is that we're only third or fourth (Villa, Blackpool, Newcastle).

Bloody hell!! You've only gone and got yourself a rival!!!
What's with the Wednesday Charlton hatefest?
We beat them to the signing of Danny Green. Then we signed Michael Morrison and made him good. Then we gave them Miguel Llera, which in retrospect was probably taking things a bit too far. And then we beat them to the League One title, which they don't care about at all which is why they mention it literally every single time we play them.

    They're weird basically.
If we're weird then you're weeyad!

WTF is wrong with them? I can't say I really think their fixture is anything different to any other.

To hear that they booed JJ when his name was announced and would like to see us go down with their local rivals Leeds and Rotherham is just fucking peculiar.

There's not a lot to do up north is there?
  • I can understand where they are coming from , we took the pee against them with our stroll to the title and wins up there , then hoofing them out of the cup therefore breaking their chance of a win against Sheff Utd in a cup 1/4 final all whilst SCP was celebrating by hanging from their goal and then losing to Sheff Utd !
Can you imagine if someone stopped us from having a monster game against the scum(OK they would be doing us a favour cos we'd lose anyway) in a cup 1/4 final and their manager did what SCP did and also that same team losing to the scum in the 1/4s therefore heaping more glory on a rival
I'd have the hump in that position and I would be one of the least cry babies amongst our tear drop crew
Of course they have some helm fans but all clubs do and their ratio of helms/fans is not At the Leeds/scum numbers , it's just with the numbers they have they're gonna have a few more than us

They're so far away it matters not.

Very harsh on soapy . Limited , yes, but some great memories - making Clive's 3rd, the equaliser at Anfield, 2 goals at Man City . What's Reza done ?

Off topic but I don't think Newcastle are poorly ran. Ashley has spent millions in transfer windows (around £120m).

  • I've said this for over a year; Reza is terrible but up until the Wednesday game, was seemingly immune from criticism.

I think he might be worse than Izale McLeod. At least McLeod went on to make a career for himself in league two. Does anyone here think Reza would score at league two level?!

  • A goal from a fucking set piece again, wasnt at the game but we sounded beyond useless second half riga kindly fuck off as your a glorified puppet, thats all.

whats the earliest we can get relegated?,
