Katrien Meire wrote this statement in her own words without any shadow of doubt. She is a frustrated strange individual that just can't do this job to the appropriate professional standard.
I am a believer in psychology as in looking at someone as stupid as her to be a victim of herself. I feel sorry for this lady she needs help. It is utterly pathetic, but also a cry for help.
For such a high profile job she does not understand consequences to any degree. David Brent has more self awareness and common sense.
So we waited for something like 6 months for a head of comms and if she has any sense she will be resigning inside a few weeks if these sorts of things get done above her head. Wow, what a statement. Shambles.

I am writing to advise you of a piece of English law called vicarious liability. What this means is that someone who is in control of another person in some way (usually as an employer) can be held legally responsible for their actions or for any injuries suffered by them. If you knew a good lawyer I would expect that they would tell you this, but I don't suppose you do, do you?
Anyway, I am worried about little Katy Merde who works for you. She looks like she might be cracking under the strain of things. If something were to happen to her, or if she were to do something stupid (always a good chance of this), you could be held legally responsible. That would only be right and proper too. It can't be right that you keep her in a position that she is unqualified and unsuited for, where she consistently makes mistakes and where her 'customers' hate her almost as much as they hate you. For her sake please find a job that she is more suited to. Given the tone of her last missive, I'd recommend that you do this as a matter of urgency. Also I think it would be a positive move if you could encourage her to visit her doctor. It would be a nice touch if you could take her personally. I was invited to the Training Ground today along with other hospitality customers. We were accompanied by the Senior Management team and prior to the tour we had a chance to put some questions to KM. I don't think she was expecting it and seemed a bit rattled that about half of us were asking questions that she didn't like.
I had hoped that there would have been a Q & A session with the SMT at the end, but that was with JJ, Ademola & Alou Diarra.
As we were leaving I went up to her on my own and took the opportunity to ask her if she was going to respond to CARD's statement and whether they would be meeting the Trust. During that conversation she said to me that Roland had met with some fans. I thought nothing of that at the time, but for it to appear in the 'statement' tonight seems a bit of a coincidence.

After much debate and painful inspection of the poorly generated markup of the page, it was confirmed... The post was real.
As the news sunk in, the overwhelming sentiment was not one of anger or hatred, but of sheer concern at the new level of absurdity that the situation had reached...
A level of such absurdity clearly called for it's own absurd medium of conveying it, and for me, that medium was the swiftmeister herself..
Alas, I enjoyed it so much I think this will be my new medium of conveying poignant messages and short stories..

Apologies if this has already been mentioned (I haven't worked my way through all 21 pages yet). To compound matters for Katrien, she also says in the Dublin interview in a very supercilious and derisive way that she finds it “quite funny” (meaning ridiculous) that fans should feel a sense of ownership when all they do is pay their ticket money, which makes up only a third of the club’s revenue stream. She then goes on to say that this sense of ownership is "weird" (meaning weird).
I'm afraid, Roland, or whoever wrote that ludicrous statement, there is no wriggling out of this. Anyone with any awareness of the history of football, any feeling for the game at all, would understand the symbiosis between club and fan base, the depth of attachment, the intergenerational commitment, the loyalty which fans in general and Charlton fans in particular have given and continue to give to their club. It's not all about who pays the bills, any more than a family is. So much for the 12th man being crucial!

She is from a European country, is/was a lawyer, studied in a university in the UK for some time, uses English on a daily basis at corporate level. She's a CEO of a big English company (us) and if her English is really that bad, she doesn't meet the basic requirements of this job, does she?

In fact they've been treating us as if we're the enemy to defeat or the problem to solve for almost two years. The statemente is, in a way, a good thing because it makes more people realise that Duchatelet and his incompetent CEO should never have had entered the football business and the only way for our club to survive is a change in ownership.

Absolutely spot on. Meire clearly has an excellent grasp of English (sadly not of football). Also, she had lots of time in Dublin to qualify her statement, but chose not to. Either she meant exactly what she said then, or she's a simpering idiot (actually, there's a chance she's both).
Stan has been very supportive as have most of the Talksport team , same goes for sky sports. Don't seem to be getting the same support from the BBC it seems , no wonder I guess when their phone in has KM's friend working on it.
Just checked, it's still on the OS. If the OS hasn't been hacked and this has come from Roland, their answer when trying to put things right, will be that someone hacked his email account.
