I feel sorry for Mel Baroni as this is clearly her work.
It is so basic that an organisation should answer its emails that it is staggering that this even has to be done.
But it does and so she has done it. Well done but that it is even needed is damning.
I fear that Katrien and the others like Mandy and Tony will ignore this or just expect to hide behind the "it didn't warrant a response" excuse.
As for abusive emails remember Katrien thinks that wearing a black and white scarf is "inciting a riot" so even the slightest critical voice will be dismissed.

I agree it's clearly Mel's work. The funny thing is that it's so clear when it is because it's actually attempting to deal with the concerns of the fanbase. Something Katrien has never once tried to do. It's quite funny really
The club is also working with a panel of supporters called Target 20K. The group is tasked with maintaining and growing Charlton’s active fanbase by improving fans’ experience.
The group is independent of Charlton and meet with members of the club on a regular basis to propose and discuss ideas with them.
It was Target 20K’s suggestion to make the North Lower the most affordable area of The Valley for 2016/17 season tickets and also have a new Student concessions category.
Not true. It was being discussed by a member of the senior management with supporters, including me, well before the group was assembled.
What a load of bollocks, create a new email address and then write in a clause to the Club's Charter allowing them to ignore it at their own choice.
Is that seriously their idea of fan engagement? Giving us a new email address because we aren't worth wasting valuable storage in an actual real employee's inbox?
Well I never, the revised club charter promises an acknowledgement with 48 hours, they'll reinvent the wheel next..............oh hang on a minute is that going to be a proper acknowledgement from a human being or computer generated.
The hilarious thing is, the suspect they'll probably have a catch all email address on the domain name - for instance, allowing incorrect email addresses to still be received - and then passed on to the intended recipient. For all we know, they've actually done nothing..

Is this what they meant by being "determined to do everything we can to work together with supporters to build our relationship with them" so we can "voice our opinions"?
I actually think it's believable that the Executive Sycophants and Queen Pinocchio have had an emergency meeting to discuss what they can do to look like they're acting on Sunday's statement, and this is the piss-taking literal interpretation that has been signed off on.
The football league have had words with them about not following the guidelines set down in the clubs charter. Example: Reply to correspondence when requested to. IMO.
Automatic response likely to meet tick box exercise for football league stats.
'Thanks for your email, we will respond in due time etc, etc'

Didn't see the above reply before posting.
Due to the weight of emails for one staff member that works on the inbox half a day on Thursday, there may be a short delay before the club can respond........
This mailbox has been set up purely for the amusement of Meire. She can now sit privately in her office reading them with that stupid, smug, condescending grin on her face.
You give her too much credit, she wont read any of them.

Easy this one, set your email up to auto reply/send an email when you receive one from fans@cafc.co.uk back to that address. Title it 'stop sending me emails, i've already told you'
Now send an email to the address with 'please note I request you not to send me any further emails' If you do I will charge you an administration fee of £15 for every email I receive, any reply to this email will confirm your acceptance of such a fee'
............hit send and watch the fun begin.
Thats all a joke by the way..... next someone will suggest a pitch invasion.

I'm arranging one for next match mate inbox me
No ifs or buts? (:
You got it mate!!! Shall I mark you down on the list again?
I can just picture the scene, some poor young intern tasked to deal with the emails, heels clicking down the corridor as she tries to keep up with Katrien on the run, being blanked when she asks her what she should reply to the days messages.

I can see it now, whiling away the day, telling info@cafc.co.uk that its hair looks nice, asking if info has lost weight etc.

Thanks for pointing that out, I'm far from a pedant but compliment/complement is silly mistake to make. Does no one proof read these statements?
fanscustomers but something to leak to the media.Cynical me and them.
Would love to see what the generic response would be.
And would hope they'd avoid any embarrassing data breaches....

Unless you've got Roland's number?
I emailed that inbox and got sent an NHS feedback form in response.
You moan nobody responds so they give a better method of communication and you slate that.
Mel knows she has a tough task on her hands but at least give her a chance to try something to improve communication.
