U21's vs Huddersfield Town (08/02/16)

Living in Manchester I have decided to go to this, KO 13.00. It's raining cats and dogs here (more like elephants and hippopotamuses!) If anyone more in the know than me hears it has been postponed could you post it on here. Leaving around 11.00. Cheers.

  • Swear Charlton are doing this deliberately at the moment.

Kick the fans in the gut with defeat on a Saturday afternoon, then cheer them up with the U21s on a Monday ;)

I'm on the free supporters coach to this game.

    Not really.
  • Can you let me know if you find Karel Fraeye up there.

He went missing when due to do a Interview after the last time we played Huddersfield!!

It'll be interesting to see whether anyone with first team experience is selected. If so I wonder @Tutt-Tutt if this is the game the Burnley and Cardiff scouts I bumped into on the train Saturday are going to, when they said their goodbyes to one another?

Good luck to the team today. Gutted I couldn't go in the end.

Funnily enough just seen that the Cardiff U21s match has been postponed because of the rain. But it's against Millwall. Blackburn have also had their game postponed (home to Villa)

(Edited because I can't read Twitter)

Ah, Blackburn is probably where they were going (both are based up North) presumably because as it was a league game there could've additionally been some overage players that they might want to run the rule over for a loan signing.

The way the tweets were both retweeted together, I misread Blackburn were playing Cardiff so the pre-edit said about Burnley maybe going as they're close. I kind of know that both are Northern clubs having lived up north lol

good point though, if they were not fit enough for the bench on Saturday surely this the ideal run-out for them.

18' Big intervention from Archie Edwards on the halfway line to dispossess Hiwula. The hosts would have had a two v one there #cafc
