Riga *Might* be coming back

He's a football manager that has done us no harm. He kept us up and like I said earlier earned our respect from a zero base. If we start booing him then this club, fans and everything are really screwed.carly burn said:

Well I for one am pleased.
Fraeye was undoubtedly going to take us down.
We need to appoint someone who can keep us up.
Well excuse me, but isn't Riga someone who could keep us up ? He is someone who DID keep us up, with a worse squad.
So yes, it's a merry go round, but come on.
Would there be so many complaints, if Shelvey, Jenkinson, Morrison, Stephens and Wiggins returned ?
I still want the Belgians out of course.17 -
In the interests of economy we're going to leave the name blank, just leave a space before the OUT and we can chalk in the appropriate name match by match.Henry Irving said:
Either that or change it to FRY UP and sell it to the burger van.4 -
Or maybe just a bit brassic after being out of a work for a while.?ricky_otto said:
I don't think Houdini would have got Blackpool out of that mess. Riga must have an obsession with working with nut job owners.Oakster said:He walked into a massive mess at Blackpool & comprehensively failed - we are not too far off that situation ourselves.

Just like Roger Johnson, deemed not good enough before, but now our saviour17

If his first act is to bring back Watt, we might on the right track.8
-
Tbh this is probably the best we could hope for. At least it gives us a better chance of survival.4

This is a load of utter shite. I like Riga but he is not the answer. The squad is poorer than it was last time round and even if it wasn't it's all just a pathetic merry go round of waffle. These people have no self respect. If Fraeye is still remotely involved that's it for me. Call it a boycott if you like but I'll be done. Utter wank.10

He'll get a few games but it won't last. Time and quality are well up against him this time around.ShootersHillGuru said:

For everyday Duchatelet remains with his plan we are screwed. The manager has very little to do with it.

Riga should never have been let go in the first place.13

I have to read your last sentence with a Cornish accent. It won't come out any other way.Covered End said:Well I for one am pleased.

Agree0

I disagree that the squad is weaker than Riga's last stint7

i wont boo Riga, but will continue to boo KF if he stays and will continue to protest. It is best to drop KF out of it.0

Is this actually happening or are we going to have to look at this face again on Tuesday?1

Agree. At least it will give Karel time to sort out our summer transfer targets.MuttleyCAFC said:i wont boo Riga, but will continue to boo KF if he stays and will continue to protest. It is best to drop KF out of it.

Riga will allow us to support the team but not the regime.5

How imaginative. We're at the recycling centre again. He did a great job for us last time. Hey, he even knew how to play players in their correct positions. But are there no other options. God forbid , better ones?0

As far as I know Steven Clark, Nigel Pearson, Tim Sherwood, Gus Poyet, Gary Monk,
Brendan Rogers, Malky McKay are all out of work. Why doesn't Murray
advise these Belgian clowns we need a manager with experience
not another network (or ex network) employee?8 - Sponsored links:

Just get a 3d one with riga out, fraeye out, Bob out and Luzon out. Rotate at monthly interludesDavo55 said:

I like Riga and I got the idea the players liked him too0

So every appointment was right and now we're back where we started.
It's all a bit:11 -
What if Fraeye actually was the mastermind last time Riga was in charge?23

Bring in whatever rubbish they want. They will be gone. Protests should now intensify. Lower west to welcome Riga.1
-
Yes, he 'kept us up' but this time you could argue that we have a much weaker squad, urgent transfers in are needed.0
-
At least if it happens my CL pic will become relevant again, a year and a half after I last bothered to change it.0

If everyone was fit, i'm not sure we do have a weaker squad than last time.SheedyCAFC said:Yes, he 'kept us up' but this time you could argue that we have a much weaker squad, urgent transfers in are needed.
