That should be forwarded to the CEO
To be fair the rot set in years before RD and KM got involved, starting with the appointment of Dowie...

These things tend to be transient. Ipswich were fêted at the same time that we were, excellent Chairman (Sheepshanks) and respected young manager (Burley) but after a UEFA cup run they got relegated and eventually ended up in administration...
You can only judge RD/KM on what's been achieved since they arrived. We've yet to look like threatening Powell's 9th place despite arguably better players, Charlton home support has dropped to below 9000 in the ground, our debt has risen significantly with no prospect of it falling, the relationship between the club and supporters is at its lowest at any point in the last 20 years...

And now we find ourselves glancing towards Selhurst Park with an envious eye. Ironically Palace's success is built on similar principles to those that served out club for so long.

    It could be so different.
Not defending RD/KM, but if Jimenez/Slater had still been in charge, things might easily have been worse! We could easily have gone into administration that season, which would have almost certainly meant relegation back to L1. At least we're not having to postpone or abandon home games now due to our pitch. Having a game postponed an hour or so before kickoff due to rain, when Conference teams were able to play that day was truly dreadful.
If Hulyer was still in charge...

But they're not still in charge. RD/KM are, and their decisions are what's shaping our football club. With backing Jimenez and Slater at least brought success to the football side. When the money ran out they struggled but now there's financial backing again we look little better on the pitch than we did when they arrived.

Still it turned a 3-1 HT deficit into a 2 nil win!
  • We are scraping the bottom of the barrel surely when we look at being run by a potless Delboy and Rodney to form a favourable comparison. Especially as when they had some financial backing from Kevin Cash, they actual did a half decent job in comparison to RD too. It’s like saying, I know a stick isn’t the most delicious foodstuff there is, but it is better than eating dog poo. Lady C from I'm a Celebrity isn't the most attractive woman there is, but she is better than........... erm........Ok that probably wasn't the best example, but you get my point!
