Our temporary manager? Not many clubs allow a temporary manager to make signings?
Our beloved CEO? Did she hand pick him from her vast knowledge of players in and out of contract?
Our astute owner? Did he rush over from Belgium and seal the deal himself?
Who knows? But one question....if he's such a good signing and was free, why didn't they sign him to help Luzon out instead of letting him struggle with a paper thin squad then sack him??

He is a decent signing and you can't spell his name right when it's plastered all over the forum.
Ricardo Jorge Vaz Tê
Even 'Vaz Te' would be acceptable.
Too many fans are just looking for reasons to dig at Meire, Fraeye and Duchâtelet.
They're clearly trying to work on improving us so we become 'competitive' in this league.
Give it a rest for 5 minutes please.
New Career > Player Search > Filter 'Free Agents | Under 30 years old | Realistic Transfers' > Look for players you've heard of > Vaz Te
''We have such a thin squad!''
''We've signed a player?!?!? ... Let's make it seem suspicious... Oh my word who signed this man?! RD we need more information and closure on the buisnesses of the club!''
Makes me chuckle
It's good "they" recognized we need goals asap and can't wait until January.
That's what agents do.
I wouldn't wish for less.
I heard a rumour that the player's agent had emailed the club asking for a trial a while ago - but gave up waiting for a reply.
So he told the player to just turn up at Sparrows Lane anyway.
;o)
Chris Parkes.
Can Vaz Te play more than two games a week without getting injured? If he can and is physical enough to play against Championship defenders, then he is an improvement on some of the current bunch. I hope his character, physical fitness, team-work and ability to play under pressure, was all assessed when our scouts watched him in his last match. He should be able to pick up the pace of the Championship with his previous experience, unlike some of the recent mis-fits recommended by the internet twins.
I assume this is a Mark Stow recommendation as the new Chief Scout, replacing Phil Chapple. It will be interesting to see how he goes. Previously at Watford, Southend United and Exeter City as Chief Scout, so he's come up the hard way. If he is recommending Players with Championship experience, I hope the Klueless One is listening!
If there's any chance make it a lot longer than 5 minutes though?
