if we have replaced him it must be with Vaz Te so who has replaced McA and don't say Lookman as he was already here and is a youngster with minimal experience, so whom please tell Colin
Replacing McA why he hardly featured , KF spent time watching under 21 and under 18 relised we had just as good players or better
Then why did we sign him in the first place Colin?
Squad member ..... but why pay wages on a player when you have your own players who deserve a go .....KF made a quick call on him , most likey would not fit into the way he wants to play
yep, just two days before his loan was to expire anyway, good call

I know that I really shouldn't get into it with you Colin, but do you not see a problem there? I get that you're trying to spin this as pro KF and therefore pro-RD but if we have our own players who deserve a go then why the hell did we bring in a Premiership loanee as a squad player in the first place? KF's magical great decision looks a lot less brilliant when you consider it was a decision made off the back of a ridiculous one.

McAleny played in 9 out of the 10 games played while he was with us. 5 off the bench, admittedly, but he played enough minutes to get a rating in the CL statbank (thanks @lancashire lad) in six league games. He also played 74 minutes against Palace. That's not 'hardly featured' by any measure. You get a lot of stick Colin, but sometimes you deserve it because you're just plain wrong.

And after he'd thrown a wobbly in the dressing room when told he was being subbed at half-time v MK Dons away.
Good for KF on making his point but he was sent back two days early as large said after some truly abject displays. More great data analysis.
Why did we bring in McAleny in the first place? Two reasons. We'd started the season with an obviously too small squad that then got hit by injuries and Everton were happy for him to come to us for next to no wages.

You should look at it from Colin's viewpoint, it makes sense from there.

Of course we don't know who was responsible for bringing him in, it could have been one of the UK scouts.
I assume McAleny was brought in as a replacement for Callum, which was slightly odd as they don't really play in the same position.

More likely to fill the gap left by loaning out Harriot and then not signing Henry from Wolves.

Simple diff managers see players in diff ways , Luzon played a diff style and system then KF wants to play certain players just might not fit it ....

Except as Henry has said, and as KF himself intimated quite overtly, McAleny was sent back because he kicked up a fuss and his attitude was wrong. So make your mind up Colin, stick to one fib. Is it your story, that we signed McAleny as a squad player, which makes no sense, and KF felt he didn't need him in the squad as he didn't fit the system, or is it the reality backed up by stats and actual information, that McAleny was signed for the first team, was rubbish, kicked up a fuss, and was sent back early because his attitude and performances were terrible and he was a total mistake of a signing? One of those stories is correct. It's not yours.
"Quiet day expected at Charlton Athletic on final day for loan deals"
There's a surprise. Vaz Te was always a replacement for Tony Watt.
Let's see if Katrien Meire spells it out in black and white as promised as to why Tony Watt was allowed to leave, why there has been no replacement and why the squad remains so, so small for the third season in a row.
All this, "Roland will invest in January if we have a chance" is nonsense because we're never going to be anywhere close to competing in January - our season is already over by then. If that's what he wanted he shouldn't have sacked a manager who finished three points off the playoffs with an understrength squad.
Vaz Te came in then Tony went... Both will be as effective as the other.
A Puzzler from dazzler ?
A thought from the soapbox ?
As Tony went from Magic to tragic Can Ricardo go from No play to Ole Watt goes from the wizard of the dribble to the nonsense of the scribble One in, one out, there is no Doubt Vaz Te will do it his way.
I think Watt is the more creative, well if creative means creating a negative atmosphere, he'll be benched then out of their squad before returning to us.
I think Vaz Te may score 2 or 3 before the season is over if we're lucky but won't set the world alight like 2-3 years ago.
I think he'll be more Bolton Vaz Te than West Ham Vaz Te.
Newcastle and Stoke have entered the race to sign in-form Oxford United star Kemar Roofe, according to The Sun.
The two Premier League clubs are believed to have sent scouts to watch the 22-year-old in action at Dagenham on Saturday, during which he bagged his 11th goal of a stellar season.
Roofe has also attracted interest from Championship side MK Dons who are reportedly trying to snare the midfielder in January with a £500,000 bid.
Amid links with Blackburn’s Marcus Olsson, Derby boss Paul Clement has ruled out any loan signings before the close of the window tomorrow night.

Just wish people would have some faith for a change
