Well known that Watt is a disruptive influence. His attitude on the pitch has shown that to be the case at times. Wouldn't be surprised if he was moved on.
Vetokele and Watt sold, Makienok signed on a perm, KAG, Reza, Vaz Te and Lookman (on a long term deal) would people be ok with that?
Not really
Would prefer to see if we can get the old Igor back first before we sell him.
KAG and Lookman are both talented but very young. Look how up and down KAG has been. Can expect the came from Lookie.
Vaz Te needs to get fit and show he can still do it. Could be a Jim Melrose/Garth Crooks type signing though. (think Glenn Murray/Kevin Phillips at Palace younger people)
Reza? Still don't think he's a Championship player
Would agree with all of that except the last bit. Think Reza could really do it for us if he continues playing the way he did against Sheffield Wednesday. Yes - it was only one game but he actually looked like he cared! Showed some real passion at times both attacking and tracking back to defend.
Watt is an enigma. Brimming with talent but I just get the feeling that he's never going to fulfil his potential. Unplayable at his best but disinterested too often. As for Igor I just don't think we'll see him for anything other than glimpses and he will be moved on when he's fit. I somehow think he might have burnt some bridges at The Valley.
Mak still needs an uninterrupted run in the team but I like him. KAG is not ready yet and Lookman needs to be treated carefully but he looks a great prospect. Reza has it all to prove. Vaz Te can but will he ?
If Watt and Igor are moved on then I would like one more proven striker in.

I think his contract is up at the end of this season so he'll no doubt either be looking to impress us or any future club that might fancy him, let's hope he now shows more of the same.
Manager Russell Slade has rued Cardiff City's lack of forward options following their 2-0 defeat at Derby County in the Championship. Cardiff, who have scored only 17 league goals in 17 games so far this term, had two shots on target at Hillsborough. Slade says he is close to signing a striker before the emergency loan window closes on Wednesday.
Bloody bonkers to let TW go either on loan or permanent. One of the few players we have who can beat opponents and make something out of nothing. Sure he can be a bit hot and cold but so can they all. Lookman might have the same qualities but he is very young and its not fair on him to expect him to step into a leading role just yet.
Makienok, KAG, Lookman, Reza, Vaz Te, Vetokele (soon)....let Cardiff get him fit!
Vetokele soon? He had an op and was ruled out for at least nine weeks, nine weeks that will probably extend to April. Vaz Te, blows hot and cold, not fit yet. KAG and Lookman, kids and not to be relied on to perform regularly. Reza, one good game in a Charlton shirt, jury still out. So that leaves Makienok. If Watt goes we need a replacement in, hopefully a better one than him.
People keep saying he's a disruptive influence but based on what you see on Twitter and Instagram, he's seems to be very involved in all the banter amongst the players. Perhaps he just challenges the coaches which isn't always a bad thing?
We are out of the bottom three, time to cut costs. Next week we go back in there and will bring in a panic, mid season journey man to help us back out so we can cut costs by letting Vet go. This makes sound business sense. No way do we want to build a squad as that way could lead us dangerously up the table. Plus anyway, Lookman has now established himself and we can all entirely rely on him to do it for us.
It's odd we haven't been Linked with a replacement before, I reckon it's more than likely no one will come in, the only name mentioned prior has been yann and that was closed off by Bournemouth the other week,

We buy them instead of selling them.
Terrible terrible business Charlton, for more than one reason.
Vetokele to Bolton
Be an interesting next few days
