  • It's going to be a fun day.
    Impossible to predict.
  • Does not look fun to be driving in this weather
  • Can see why they've delayed it as long as possible... Not surprising that its a rookie to crash

and Colapinto causes a red flag. would be a mad grid if quali had to be stopped now
  • Yeah this could be anyone on pole , I wouldn't be surprised if it's last across the line
  • Going to be some race later
  • That was a bit too close Lando.
  • Not surprised to see Bearman struggling in these conditions, as dont think he's really driven in them before - But would have expected Hulkenberg to do a lot better
  • Ooops... Thats changed everything very quickly, with Verstappen now starting P17
  • Nightmare for Verstappen, currently set to start 17th!

  • Ha ha ha.
  • Should have let them finish the laps. Was a good half a minute before they red flagged that

they’ve been consistently slow this weekend, saw it earlier with Collapinto and yday with the VSC
  • Red Bull caught out trying to be too clever. Surely they knew the chance was there of another Red Flag???

Interlagos needs to be the season finale for this reason... F**K MONEY!!

    Its just SO unpredictable
  • Alonso in the wall now! Red Flag.

Aston mechanics going to have a very busy few hours
  • Norris has benefited from perfect timing this quali. Red flag straight after he takes pole with a 0.5 sec gap.
  • These F1 cars will be put together with string and glue like some Primary School science project so that they're able to race later on
  • Isn’t there a rule about how long there has to be  between qualifying and the race? is it 4 hours? because they’re in trouble if so

I just read elsewhere that its 2-hours.

I thought it was 4-hours as well though, so wont be surprised if the race gets pushed back to 4pm UK time

Yes 4 hours. Race start will be delayed.

A nice gap between Verstappen and Norris as it stands.

Will there be some non starters though? Lots of mechanics will be working frantically in the gap between qualifying and the race.
  • I'd be surprised if the 2 Aston's make it. Franco and Sainz will be touch and go

Wonder if they'll combine Engineers and focus on one Aston Martin
  • That's an absolutely huge hit for Albon
  • Jesus wept... That Williams definitely wont take part in the race!!

Williams too, although can’t blame them if they write Albon’s car off

Wonder if they'll fix Colapinto's car... and get Alex to race, if he's not hurt

Given that could still be a P2 start for Williams

can they do that? isn’t it the car that qualified rather than the driver technically?

They already have Colapinto’s car to fix as well, so they can’t throw extra mechanics at it.
