  • Don't be so stupid.....

....how could you leave Mark Bowen out of that side! ;-)
  • Paul Sturgess for Bergdich?
  • Ha ha ha

We all dream of a team of a team of left backs, a team of left backs.......
  • In a fantasy world, I'd change all 11 players, but in reality we don't even have enough in reserve to be able to!

    Henderson
    Solly Bauer Sarr Fox
    JBG JJ Cousins Moussa
    Reza Makienok

Pope, Bergdich, Holmes-Dennis, McAleny, Ba, Watt, Ahearne-Grant
  • Should have played:-

    Henderson
    Diarra Sarr Fox
    JJ
    Solly Ba Cousins Bergdritch
    TW Makienok

Not sure who is fit, but if they can train they play until they drop and then sub.

  • A team for Saturday, a team?! Oh well, we can dream I suppose.
  • Henderson
    Solly Sarr Bauer Bergdich
    JBG Cousins JJ Moussa
    Watt Mak

    I'm assuming Diarra suspended
  • If Henderson's fit, he has to play, if only to give Pope a rest.

Cousin, Diarra, Bauer, Fox at the back

JBG, haven't got a clue, fuck knows, Holmes-Dennis midfield

perm any two from the three of Watt, Makienok and Reza up front.

    Cross fingers.

    Henderson
    Solly Sarr Bauer Holmes-Dennis
    Diarra
    JBG Cousins JJ
    Reza Mak

Play as a 5-3-2 with Solly and Holmes Dennis as wing backs
With JJ feeding them as much as possible from the middle.
Would like Diarra to play in front of Baura and Sarr to give protection plus he can start attacks as well.
Tony Watt to get at least 30 mins to replace Mak or Reza as they can't be match fit at the moment.
Also Lookman on the bench instead of Kag
Plus Moussa to get 20/25 mins.
As Diarra got 2 yellows at Palace and served a 1 match ban for the red card, the 2nd yellow must be void.

I thought he was only on 4 now ?

  • I'd rather play with 10 men than see Sarr back in a Charlton shirt.

    3 at the back

    Sarr Diarra and Bauer (captain)

    Wing backs
    Cousins right
    Tariq Dennis left

Give Gudmunnson free hole in the hole

    Watt and Reza up front

Mid two Muldoon and Kashi if fit

    You potty mouth.

  • We have already been told SM not ready to start on Saturday
  • Henderson back will make a huge difference. Think him and Bauer will tighten things up.

He looked fit and was very eager to get on. Spent the entire time before he came on warming up. Has to play.
  • Just guided us to 5th in the PL playing a 4231 formation on Football Manager, admittedly with better players, but maybe worth a go.

    Hendo
    Solly Diarra Bauer Fox
    Cousins Jackson
    JBG Watt Moussa
    Mak

That back three combo makes me feel unwell.
  • Hendo

    Solly
    Bauer
    Diarra
Bergdich (in his proper position for once)

    JBG
    Cousins
    Ba
    Moussa

    Watt
Mak (if he can walk get him on the bloody pitch)

  • Diarra is suspended.

  • Diarra is definitely banned. | It has been confirmed that Alou Diarra will be suspended for Saturday's clash with Brentford. #cafc
Diarra received one yellow in the League Cup defeat to Crystal Palace before receiving a straight red, which counts towards his tally. #cafc

I thought we came to the conclusion that he wasn't as he served his suspension for the 2 yellows at Palace?

EDIT - seen from the OS that he is out. We really are shafted. That's Sarr in then.

Brentford beat Wolves tonight 0-2 and having a new manager bump. The Brentford owner realized his experiment was not working and went back to a british manager.
  • Why don't we try and surprise Brentford. They'll be expecting 4-4-2, they'll be expecting slow passing from Bauer, wide to Solly or Fox, then sheer nothing as everything is still in front of them and panic sets in.

Why not get JBG on the left. Natural width. Big if, but if Mak is fit, we might get some early crosses into him as we'll have a natural winger playing on the correct side for once. I know he prefers to play on the right, but I haven't been feeling even JBG's performances recently. Why not just try and mix it up?

Doesn't look as though Mak will be fit so the only thing I would ask is JJ start, we need the leadership on the pitch

    Hendo

    Solly Bauer Diarra Fox

    JBG JJ Cousins THD

    Watt KAG

If those on the fringes of fitness make it

    Hendo

  • Please, just for once, can our players who are touch and go make it into the starting line up.

  • Must be a place for some right footers:-
    Luke Young
    Mark Bowen
    Carl Jenkinson

Playing Fox in goal might be the best thing for him. Also, you left out Herman Hreidarsson
  • Please, just for once, can our players who are touch and go make it into the starting line up.

Sorry I dont get this... Id rather:

Lose one more game (whilst resting our players who still arent quite there) means that we then get everyone back fully fit and means we can go on an actual run.

Win this match by playing unfit players can give us three points yet there is a huge chance of an injury flairing up, meaning that going forward we're then worse off than Tuesday night.

You could say that statement of mine contains a lot of IFs and Maybes but that works both ways and just highlights how hard Luzon's (or any Managers) job is
