If you were picked out from the crowd to actually go and sit in it would you take up the offer?
No chance. Just another ingredient in the melting pot of things to hate at the moment. A fucking sofa? Cheerleaders? No identity anymore. Very rapidly losing interest in the club I love.

Went to to a LA Dodgers game last night and got some ideas for KM:
- Get three fans and on the pitch, they choose a coloured hotdog in a car and whoever gets the loudest cheers wins the race on screen and a pair of shoes
- Get a fan to guess what a player is drawing on the big screen and win a hat
- Get a fan to name as many pizza toppings as you can. If you beat the player's attempt you win beer
- Get a fan to guess the nominated player's favourite cartoon character to win a lounge pass
Great one off event and decent atmosphere but the whole "fan experience" thing was horrible.
Also, one of the interim inning questions was "What year was 'Glad All Over' released?" And they played it for two minutes. Threw my foam hand in disgust.
A lot of Liverpool fans and are all tuned into Sky sports and so was I waiting for our highlights. Then there it appeared...in its full glory. honed right in on it whilst commentators made some jokey comments.
How do you get picked? Can't believe it is at random as all very 'safe' choices so far.
Is it a bit of a 'who you know' carve up?
It isn't as contrived as that, but there might well be a bit of prior planning. There is, at the moment, a limited range of places that the cameras can focus on, so people chosen will come from those areas. Sometimes there might also be a bit of a look around for possible candidates before doing the sofa choosing section. How much, I couldn't possibly comment.

We were picked at the Huddersfield game from the crowd. My son's frantic waving did the trick and the rest is history as they say.
Will put a different spin on watching the game and fully intend to enjoy the day. I just hope that Lifers can find it in their heart and forgive me for "selling out" like this.
That's a shame, I'd need a couple of days to get my props organised.
No, not sorted, but there is a sort of script for people to follow. There always is when filming. Make sure you are sitting in West lower, probably near the North West, or, on other side of North West in North lower. And catch BDL's eye at the right moment.
If we can solve better zooming of cameras at a reasonable price it might all change and bring in other parts of the ground.

I have to confess we cheated - my son is cross eyed so was able to catch the eye of both cameras simultaneously.

Highlights how most of Football fans sit on an armchair / sofa to watch a game via Sky now
It just does nothing but that's the point.
It doesn't make us money or bring more people in.
It's a pointless gimmick.

What is the point of it? The fans looked proper pillocks too.
