Trains problems for Fulham on Sunday or not ?

I'm obviously being dense, but if the engineering works end at 02.30 Sunday. Where's the issue ?

Presumably there is, but I'm being whooshed.

Planned engineering work will take place between Plumstead and Slade Green

From 01:15, Saturday 03 October 2015 to 02:30, Sunday 04 October 2015.

Basically there are more extensive engineering works on the Sunday (Deptford to Slade Green), including the area affected on the Saturday (Plumstead to Slade Green), so Network Rail show them separately. NR are trying to convey that Deptford-Plumstead isn't shut on Saturday.

I have no idea why Charlton have published the Saturday bit on the OS - presumably because they have not read the thing properly or not understood it. Hence the confusion.
  • Did you read it all CE?

There are no train services calling at (in alphabetical order) Abbey Wood, Belvedere, Charlton, Deptford, Erith, Greenwich, Maze Hill, Plumstead, Slade Green, Westcombe Park, Woolwich Arsenal or Woolwich Dockyard. However, there are replacement bus services, calling at these stations, operating in each direction between Lewisham and Dartford.

  • 3 hours and 20 minute train journey for me to the game on Sunday, so a 6 hours and 40 round trip. No thanks, I think I'll spend my time in the boozer watching this instead.

Apparently not. I was trying to eat dinner at the time.
  • What is the best way to get to Charlton by train from Bristol in time for kick off on Sunday?

Valley Express From: Worthing Portslade and Pease Pottage pick ups plus Godstone Fire Station. I don't know if any of that helps you or anyone else?
  • Was taking my Fulham mate and his missus to West Stand / Millenium on Sat 3rd, 4 of us with my missus, Sun 4th - meeting in local at Sunbury
