Gotta hand it to Five for managing to cock up what is essentially one of the simplest formulas on tv. Though I do want to hear more from the guy with no mic.
Now doing "live" analysis of Coventry v Wigan and Swindon v Bradford with Adam Virgo... it's basically him talking about what he sees on the screen and what he thinks about players, if he knows anything about them.
In a way, if you're a lower league team, it's pretty crap waiting all programme for a snippet. I can see why they're trying to hold the audience all the way through for advertising by mixing it up, but it's pretty frustrating if you're at the end of the show, yet top(ish) of the league. Can't decide whether I dislike it or not as a format, more energy than bbc, poor quality, adverts, no in depth analysis...actually I've decided. I don't like it.
