The LME deciding to work out of the disaster recovery sight today (Chelmsford) meaning I couldn't go as I have to get back for the kids later meaning I'm having a three hour lunch then going home!
That relieved feeling you get when you come home from walking the dogs and my good lady says "that ceiling light has started to flicker" and despite wanting a shower you decide to change the bulb only to find its so hot you can't touch it. Not only that, but it goes on and off when you touch it, going with my instincts I get up the loft and find the lnsulation smouldering and cables melting around the fitting. Could have cried in relief what might have happened. Phew.......
