Unbroken run of 17 years out of 23 years of attending games. Mostly in the West Lower but earlier days were in the East with a handful in the Covered End.
9 this season, sadly ending as I'm off to uni soon 4 in north upper (best atmosphere) 1 in north lower (hated it - awful moaning fans were everywhere) 4 in west upper (nice people around)
Since the early 80s. The season before I bought a full season ticket, I purchased a little yellow book of tickets for £20, which gave you a discount on the admission cost of each game (maybe £1.50 off, or something like that). I think was for season 1981/82. Does anybody else remember that or was it all some of hallucinogenic dream ?
Another 1994/95er. Always in the east (a couple of changes until we ended up where we are now), initially with my dad and my brother and now it's just me and my dad.
Yeah, my brother's always been the brains of the family.
Coming up to 20....missed one home game in all that time swindon 2-2 draw a boxing day when we finished the game with 9 men.....Not bad for someone who has to work 3 weekends in 5.
1977-78 but not renewing this year unless the owner lays out some clear direction on ambition, either by telling us or by his actions during the Summer. I will still go but the annual commitment-in-advance will be broken. I hope I am wrong but I suspect we will start next season with a weaker squad of players than we finish this season because of the original aim to cut our cloth and move towards break even, which will mean player sales. The plans to develop Sparrows Lane will also fall into the equation in terms of covering costs at some point - £10m of player sales is a lot of players.
This season technically is my 3rd consecutive year as s/t holder. Our league one championship winning season I decided to buy on a match by match basis in different parts of the ground to determine where to by my next s/t. I did go to every league home game that year though. Without that one season I've had a s/t since 92/93, missing 3 home matches. 2 due to attending weddings and the Wigan match moved to a Sunday.
Many ST holders would've been attending quite a while before first buying a ticket. I know that this season is GlasshalfFull's 60th year as a supporter, and there are other heroes like him.
Me and my dad got our 1st season ticket 97-98 season and have stayed in the some seat every since in the west stand lower and just renewd agin for next season. My 1st Charlton games was towards the end of the 96-97 season in the north stand with one of them being next to the drummer.

Very character building wasn't it?

Everyone remembers their 1st
Forgot about the 93/94 ST boycott, due to my van being broken.
Apologies.
