    Mark Warburton?

good shout actually... although i think sunderland want to name a new perm manager asap rather than have a caretaker take them to the end of the season.

They would be better off having Quinn and Phillips to steady the ship.
At least the fans would give them time ( about 4 matches !)

A bit like Villa, they need a short term fix, someone to give the players a confidence boost/kick up the arse.

Dick Advocaat (spelling?) is the bookies favourite at the moment.

That could cause a snowball effect.

    After Di Canio and Poyet
I would be surprised if they went for another foreign manager

You couldn't find a more disliked gang Poyet, Taricco and Oatway. I bet the referees and officials will be pleased to see the back of them.

I reckon Sunderland were hasty sacking Martin O'Neill a couple of years ago.

To which Sandra will probably say,

'Sorry Harry I've spent hours preparing that meal, you'll find it in the dog, you know the one with the Swiss bank account, I'm off to bed!'

Reckon they'd have got relegated even if it had been Dick Vintage Champagne.
