As a Block E East stander, I had wondered if many people would shift a block to Block F to save £100, but most around me stayed put. We're creatures of habit (or stupid) :-)
Based on those prices the U11 ticket has gone down by £19 all the while mine has gone up by £25. On the whole I think I can afford to pay £6 extra. It works out at just six and a half pence each per match.

Might want to check your maths on that.
Interesting that they've dropped the U11 differential, which was pretty pointless in revenue terms, although it might be they just forgot about it.
I'm not quite sure how it makes logical sense for 4 month finance to be more expensive than 10 month finance. Maybe I missed something. Doesn't bother me, but I find it intriguing.
But that conundrum aside I think the packages offered to supporters is good.
My only moan is that I find it a shame that the North Lower is still overpriced, meaning it will continue to look empty on tv every game. Hardly the best advert. But this has been the case for years.

Yes, you're quite right about that. I guess that will teach me to start a post, go off and do something else, then come back and finish it.
I was way off it's 13p a game each. probably still tempted to renew but in light of these increased numbers I will have to run it through a new spreadsheet, just to be sure!
This has probably been covered but I can't see the logic in not sending forms out & only giving people until April 10th to renew their seat seems a bit fast to me
Incidently does anyone (Airman Brown) know on which date a fan needs to be U11? Is it at renewal or when the season starts? Or some other date?
My son is 11 in May. Does he still qualify for an U11 ticket?
@kingshilladdick here you go from this seasons Terms and Conditions which one would expect will remain the same for U11s. Over 60s will now read 65 although it has been confirmed existing over 60 concessions will continue to qualify for a reduced price. Doesn't auger well for your son but ring the ticket office you never know.
2. Supporters aged 60 or over on August 1st, 2014, who are classed as seniors, and applicants aged under 11, under 18 or under 21 on August 1st, 2014 are entitled to discounted season tickets. Proof of age must be supplied where appropriate by new applicants or existing season-ticket holders who are applying in this category for the first time. Ah just read the terms and conditions, they were last years. So I am assuming that this year he would have to be under 11 on August 2015. Red Chaser is right, call the office they will know. Worth a try.
And im 60 on 30 August. Boo too... Was looking forward to a cheaper ticket.
I feel the same Mosscat. I am 60 in a few weeks time and just as I get there, after supporting Charlton for years, they change the age and no prior communication to warn us. Just a little box on the form slipped in under the radar. I only budgeted for a reduced ticket + rise as I have had to reduce my hours due to ill health. So I have a choice of moving to a cheaper area and sit on my own, try to borrow the extra to pay for the seat I have been in for 25 years with friends or not renew. Not an easy decision. It is all very well people saying that people work until pension age of 66 now but that doesn't take into consideration that a lot of over 60's have to give up work or reduce hours due to ill health. Of course I would rather be in good health, working full time and able to afford the full price but it is out of my control as it is for many my age.
Thanks RedChaser, although it wasn't, exactly, what I wanted to read. I guess he's, technically, U18 now then!
Boo!
Call the office and ask to renew and see if they notice. I did not notice at first last year and got the lower price. I did not want to make a fuss as I know how busy they can be and I can forgive a mistake honestly made so did not change it.
I think the jump from £25 (now free) for an 11yr old to £100 in the family stand is a bit steep. Especially when you consider an adult in a much better seat in the East stand block A is paying. It is not as though a 12 yr old will be earnng. An under 16 price would seem reasonable - if only in the family stand.
Also it appears to me that the '4 month' finance deal is calculated wrong when it states the total amount due! It still states the original total price rather than the total inc interest. OR is it just me being stupid?? The ten month deal seems correct.
The '4 month' finance deal is promoted as '0% finance' - but with a £16 arrangement fee per application; which is effectively a pretty hefty 'interest rate' over 4 months, particularly if you annualise it.
I was bored so stuck the figures in to an online APR calculator. Works out to an APR of 59.2% which is precisely why the finance company collecting the payments are referring to it being an arrangement fee.
Still ambiguous. It says if you are 60-64 & renewing a ST you'll retain the concession. But what if you are a season ticket holder who is 60 now but wasn't when getting their last ST?

It means that unfortunately you do not get the concession

All that information should have been included in the renewal booklet, I wonder if they will be including a separate fly sheet with each booklet.
I have quickly checked and 8 of the Championships have their concessions tickets stating at 60. (This season)
It would be a good idea if they withdrew the promotional / application pdf and put the proper information in it, correcting the other mistakes at the same time. I realise some have been printed, but there is no real cost to changing the online version to something fit for purpose and it will save a lot of enquiries.
Still no information on those who already hold a season ticket in the West Stand block H about whether or not they can renew at the cheaper price. It only says the new prices are for new season ticket holders, and you cannot move there from another place in the stadium.

My interpretation is that you have to wait until you are 65 and that will catch anyone who will be (was) 60 after 1 August 2014.
It would appear that they have now stated in writing (belatedly) that those of us who were over 60 at the start of season 2014/15 but are under 65 will continue to receive our concession.

which in itself is nonsense, cause you just let your ST lapse where you are sitting and buy a new one in block H surely?

I'm sure you are right. But the club should still have communicated in a more accurate fashion.

Or you get a new season ticket in your dad/brother/mum/auntie/mate's name and use that.
Did not renew this season because I could not afford it. However I have only had 3 games this season, in which I have not managed to grab a spare from someone for a match.
Think I will try my luck with getting a zone 6 seat after April.

Beggars belief if it is.
