@LouisMend So Chris Powell just stuck his head around the press room door….. #cafc
  • Thought Johnson had a broken rib, surely you can't play with that.

given injections to play through the pain and then given the time to recover in the summer,
Sounds like a summary of Derek Hales career :-)
  • SSN to discuss the game after the adverts in a couple of minutes

    TEAM NEWS

Wigan must do without loanee Chris Herd, who has returned to parent club Aston Villa after he tore knee ligaments against Reading.
Jason Pearce, Harry Maguire and Sheyi Ojo, who all made their Wigan debuts in that game, will hope to retain their places.
Charlton could call upon former Burnley and Bolton midfielder Chris Eagles, who signed a short-term deal on Thursday.
Defender Roger Johnson is a doubt with a broken rib.

  • Teams Coming Out

    When the red red robin
    Goes bob bob bobbin’
    Along, along,
    There’ll be no more sobbin’
    As he keeps throbbin’
    His old, sweet song,
Wake up, wake up, you sleepy head,
Get up, get up get out of bed,
Cheer up, cheer up, the sun is red,
Live, Love, laugh and be happy!

    What if I feel blue,
    I’ll go walking through
    Fields of flowers,
Rain may glisten but still I listen
    For hours, and hours.
    I’m like a kid again,
    Doing what I did again,
    Singing this song,
    When the Red Red Robin
    Goes Bob Bob Bobbin’ along!

I would have rested Johnson. I think playing him is a risk. We know he has a cracked rib, so the Wigan strikers will also!
