The fact Rotherham have overtaken us is worrying. they have found some form. All we need is for a few others to pick up and were stuffed. I doubt we'll win more than 2 more. I think 42-45 will be out total. Who knows if the others are bad enough to stay below us. The team try but come on is there really a spirit in a squad that don't know if they're going to be here next month let alone next season. I don't like this experiment. Duchatalet is making following Charlton stressful again.
A shocking result for Millwall which should hopefully dampen down the positive noises coming from the Den, and I think Wigan and Blackpool are doomed.
It's more than likely one or more of those sides will have a good run, even if only 3-4 matches, at some point. If we are hoping the others do badly to overcome our inability to win, it's not going to happen
There's no reason why we can't do the same as well

Other than that we seem to be so far off the boil it's hard to see where a win comes from. Other than Wigan, who seem to be in complete freefall, all the other sides at the bottom have at least had wins in their last two or three games.

There's always the chance of a fluke win here and there, the lucky goal, the opposition having a bad day, but over the course of the season these things even themselves out. Our problem has been in not holding on to leads against the poorer teams, 3 points against Blackpool and Rotherham and things would look very different in the table.
Anything who thinks we will win another game playing like that is deluded. Will be shocked if Church or Watt scores from now to end of season. Only player capable of creating this is Johan.
Players not good enough , manager guy who, as for the chairman and his network more like cartoon network ,we are in freefall just can't buy a win woeful .
I think at 2-1 we were well above par. My expectations are adjusted and Middlesborough have been outstanding in recent weeks.
It's a worry that we conceded another late goal, but at the end of the day none of us expected to get anything at the Riverside. With Millwall conceding two goals to ten men it means that we've lost nothing and got a tough game out of the way.
Can't think of any time when there has been so much resignation to poor results and a mood of hopelessness, even when we have had crap teams and had little to look forward to.
The only remote hope is that somehow the gaps in the team that have needed to be addressed all season (hold up striker, creative forward playing midfielder, wide midfielder) are addressed in the loan window. That is not a thing to hold your breath for though.
There are gaping holes in the team. Loanee players are likely to get a game in these positions. There may also be a positive effect from Coquelin's comments. Big clubs may also want to send their players to Charlton for experience and to make them grateful for being at their parent club ' ;-) ' . It is a possibility.
If no new significant or decent loans arrive, with the current squad, Charlton will be very, very lucky not to get relegated.
KM IS A LIAR - let's make that banner, let's make loads of them for Tuesday night. She can refer that to an article she gave to the standard!!!
Roland is a rat! would get at the person who is really responsible = blaming Katrien really is a bit cowardly.
Roland is in Belgium, you have to target what is in front of you - she is part of him and in all honesty the only way to get to him - and her replacement and so on. It isn't cowardly, our club is being destroyed here in front of our eyes!
We are shit. What's more we are soft. The only question is are there 3 teams more shit than us. We'd expect to finish above Blackpool and Wigan, which leaves us to 'fight' it out with Millwall. We have to assume they are 3 points behind us at it stands, as they will certainly beat us at there place. (Please, no rubbish about us getting a result there when it actually means something) I predict we go down, because our softness means we will bottle it, even on the very odd occasion when we might pull off a fluke win. By the way, I will be there next season when we are in div 1.
Just about how I see it. Will be between us & Millwall for the final relegation place & they will creep above us because we have no steel in us,
Just seen the goals on SSN the two from corners looked like we've reverted to zonal marking again. Nobody went with their scorer for the first one, Tomlin went through 3 players in our box before laying on a plate for the 2nd and the third was a great strike from Tomlin on the volley edge of box but no one any where near him so had time to measure it all the way from the corner taker. So much for making us harder to beat.
If Blackpool & Wigan end up above us, then we're down.
Realistically, we have to stay above one other, which at the moment is Millwall.
Unfortunately, as they nearly always beat us, our 6 point lead over them, could well be 3.
We need a win from the next 2 home games against Norwich & Brentford & then some sort of result at Wigan the week after.
After that it's Derby away.

The Wigan game is more important than the next 2 home games as its starting to look like a six-pointer & just cant let them win it, I'd be happy with 3 or 4 points from those 3 games as long as we don't lose to Wigan.

you mean Tomlin? Not a One Direction fan are you. Ha Ha
Going to be interesting to hear from the diehards there - no disrespect to Finchy but every time the ball gets into the opposition box he sounds like we are about to score the goal of the season!! Still a million miles better than the dark days of Emma.....

It's a crying shame. I said before xmas we were heading for a relegation battle, unless we strengthened in January, but we barely did strengthen.
Watt in Tucudean out.
Etheridge in Pope out.
Dmitrovic in Henderson out injured
Johnson in Morrison out
Veljkovic in
Le Point in
So we're better off by 2 defensive midfielders, one of which looks out now, with a dislocated shoulder.
Still no big hold up centre forward (it's only been a year).
Still no attacking midfielder.
Bulot ? Moussa still has knee injury.
he ain't got a clue,
Roland Duchatelet,
he ain't got a clue
:-(
