I see he's gone down again with no defender near him. :-0
  • I think George's toast is done.
  • In the paper today that George Tucudean on his way out of #cafc, a move to Steaua Bucharest is close.

I'm looking for the tweet about the forward(s) coming in, preferably before saturday!
  • Thank god.
  • No mention of a fee, wonder what we'll get for him? Considering YK was worth 500k I'd imagine George will at least fund a few new training cones and maybe a 3 for 2 deal on balls from the bin at Sports Direct

  • Personally think he gets unfairly criticised on here

    I agree.

  • I think George is alright, not his fault he isn't YK

I wonder how much it has cost RD in all the bad signings he has made for us, including wages, expenses (hotels, travel etc), and disruption the the squad. Replace all the bad signings, (without counting must be at least a dozen), and replaced with 3 or 4 good signings. Someone should tell RD, stop trying to do it on the cheap, it works out dearer in the long run.

    Buy cheap buy twice RD.
  • Only seen him play twice and both times he scored. I guess he should have bought me a season ticket.

I think as he is still young he needs to learn more. There looks to be an ok player in there. BP made out that he scored all the time in training (taken from an interview he gave when GT missed a sitter BP said he always gets those in training) so i just think alongside a bit of confidence and a bit of guidance i think he would be quite good. But if he wants to go and kick start his career again at Steau Bucarest good luck to him.

  • I think the point about guidance is a good one. Think we've been missing this badly since Andy Hughes left, heard from a few people he would go out of his way to help anyone he could, and I don't think anyone has filled that void.

Apart from maybe Jacko or TBH, I can't see we have any seasoned pro's that will be able to help out the youth players we have coming through.

I think ideally you'd have a more senior player in each position.
  • George is more suited for tippy tappy footy with the odd (and I mean odd) overhead kick thrown in. If we get an offer we should bite their hand off.
  • Maybe it's him who want's to leave as his wife gave birth a month or so ago, gets him nearer to his family.
  • I think George is alright, not his fault he isn't YK

Never mind YK, he's not even OK.

    Bit harsh IMO.

Good deal for Roland not CAFC.

This. Rumour has it that player sales at Liege went into his wallet, not the club.

    Is that technically illegal?
I've seen it reported that what he did was take €20m out in dividends...
