While Leicester had spent some money to get promoted in the first place, I was surprised at how little Leicester spent in the summer, only Ulloa (£6m) had a reasonable sized fee, while Cambiassa presumably is on good money. The likes of Danny Simpson, Albrighton, Matt Upson and yes Hamer are fairly low key signings when you look at the PL teams you're competing against. The team that played last night, with the likes of Konchesky, Wes Morgan, Matt James, Schlupp and Jamie Vardy in it, looks like a bottom 6 team, rather than a mid table team..
We have the whingers in our fan base who would and have done exactly the same and continue to moan every bloody week, either selecting a player or a manager for vitriol. I suspect in their own lives they do as they are told and come on here to take out their frustrations. I have grown weary of them in the crowd and am starting to think some mild violence at a match is acceptable.

I'm pretty sure they over spent for the past 3 or so seasons trying to get to the Prem. I have a feeling they might not have had the funds to go much bigger, nor would they want to knowing relegation is still a huge possibility, and I also mentioned previously their position re: FFP if relegated.
Had they not spent such huge sums over the past 3 years, I reckon they might've gone for it more

Heard some of them on 606 on Saturday after the QPR defeat. Pathetic! They want Pearson sacked and Tony Pulis brought in.
Why is it pathetic, you pay your money you are allowed an opinion, would you be happy if that was us right now, you may not want a change but you certainly wouldn't be happy surely
Same as the fox debate, immediately after a game feelings are high and angry and emotional, but isn't that what makes football great
You misunderstood what I was saying. I didn`t say that wanting Pearson sacked was pathetic. I said some of them who called 606 were pathetic. When asked by Robbie Savage who they wanted and exactly why they wanted Pearson sacked hardly any of them had a sensible response. The main reason they wanted him sacked was because he always sits in the stand for the whole game and never comes down to the dugout or the technical area.
As for the other part of your comment, no I wouldn`t be happy if it was us but on the other hand if you don`t spend big then you have no chance of staying in that division so they can have few complaints as a club really on that score.
The fans concerned may consider that Pearson is a good Championship level manager but not cut out for the Premier League, not an uncommon belief amongst fans of newly promoted clubs. Leicester is a fairly big club and like neighbours Forest and Derby has been under-performing in recent years, the fans are the ones who fork out the cash be it SkySports watchers or regular Leicester game goers, they have a right to moan and grumble if they see their 'investment' going down the pan
You make good points but modern football will often point you to the strange case of Southampton. Sacked Nigel Atkins who was doing a reasonable job. They've never looked back.
I still think the sacking of Nigel Atkins was a disgrace, regardless of happy hindsight. That guy has secured the financial future of Southampton for years to come. As a small consellation, It's nice to see that on twitter, almost every tweet he puts out is bombared with praise from saints fans.
Just to clarify on FFP for the Championship next season. The limit will be £13m per season on a rolling average so £39m over three seasons. For a club relegated from the FAPL they are allowed £35m loss for a season in the FAPL so £35m + 13m x 2 gives a three year total allowable £61m or roughly £20m a season for a yo- yo existence. Leicester are probably within that but not QPR... Cardiff borderline?

Even if they get relegated, Pearson would have made that club 2-3 times bigger/better than what they were. Sam goes for Burnley and Sean Dyche.
Maybe Leicester fans have short memories as it wasn't long ago they were in League One.
