  • stupid c*nt who threw the flare wants f**king weighing in. No need for that sh*t, we're not palace.
  • How stupid can some people get? Throwing a flare from the back of the upper! Same at their ground when those twats threw the seat from the upper tier and the flare as well. That seat could have killed someone had it hit them on the head in the lower tier.

As we know, getting a hit on your lower head can be painful
  • These pictures show the damage caused by a flare to Falkirk’s G3 pitch (by Rangers fans). The flare burns at 1600 degrees and melts the plastic surface - wouldn’t like to dwell on what it would do to human skin.

It is true that smoke bombs burn at a lesser temperature, but just the same, I don’t think anyone would want one in the kisser.

Is G3 like G21 but only a seventh as good?

    But it wasn't a flare ....

They don't burn at all as far as I'm aware. But you're right, wouldn't want one to hit you from distance.

Imagine the donkage if it hit you on the head. You'd be squinting, rubbing your head going 'awhrrrrrrr' for about 10 minutes.
  • Surely the point is that NO-ONE attending a football match should throw ANYTHING in any direction ( players excepted)

I thought a serious lesson had been learned when the lovely Lyn Pettyfer ( North Lower) was hit by a coin a few seasons ago and had to be taken to hospital.

    Absolute madness.

Lovely lady, she sits directly behind me. That incident was awful.
  • Would you guys be fine with it if the smoke bomb was just let off and not thrown? Also these smoke bombs used are called 'Enola Gaye' and they are cool burning smoke bombs, this also means they produce NO toxic smoke.

It hardly matters what we think all the while it remains illegal.

    Rather tasteless choice of name

Indeed, I expect they've got another product called the Dresden Firestorm.

Not as tasteless as having to set off another one three days later called 'Bockscar'

The idiot who threw a smoke bomb from the north upper which hit a female supporter in the north lower, was arrested after the game.
  • “It is also very disappointing that the club received an official letter from the FA asking for an explanation as to why a plastic bottle and a 20p coin were thrown onto the pitch from the north lower against Millwall,”

There isn't really much of a valid explanation for that is there.. unless one of the players needed a bit of change and a drink? lol...

Bet the FA have thousands of these, ready stamped & awaiting the post, addressed to The "New" Den.....

Millwall probably pay any fines with self-addressed envelopes though
  • Why has he not been named?

Think this is right. Court proceedings are publicly published for all to see but don't think police can or will name arrestees unless there is a public interest to do so.

We have a 'Prime' delivery set up with the FA for such instances. Saves us a fortune annually.

Or they get a bung from the tabloids.

Note the Charlton player named when arrested or even Cliff Richard
