Flare from North Upper

  • If this moron isn't banned then what kind of message does that send out ? I hope the club acts quickly .
  • Trouble is the youth of today need to learn if that had hit one of my family or me I would of hunted him down and shoved one right up his arsehole lite
  • Someone's been watching too many ultra videos.
  • Ban the clown for the rest of the season at least.
  • Thing he done was stupid for sure and I'm sure they regret what they done as they seemed to panic they had been trying to get the guts to do it for ages,it back fired on them.

But while I'll agree it was stupid in fact very stupid to throw it as it could have caused injury.

What i find worse was people so happy to grass on them, maybe a stern word in there lug holes from older wiser fans would have sorted it ,but so many saying it was him and pointing was shocking .

Look after your own an deal with your own I think, I have been stupid at football and been pulled aside and had words said to me and learnt from it.

    Never grass on your own

What you find worse? WTF? You moronic mouth breather/knuckle dragger*.

Never grass on your own?# Apart from supporting the same team, I have nothing whatsoever in common with an idiot like that. I wouldn't even drink with it - let alone invite the pond life round to my house.
If I'd seen it and been in the vicinity I'd have taken the greatest pleasure in informing the police and have considered it a public duty well done.

    * Delete as appropriate.

    # Does that apply to, for example, Muslims who know someone has been radicalised? Just wondering what weird warped kind of standards you have.
  • Yeah, I have to join the chorus here. The 'quiet word' thing sounds like something from the Kray's. The bell end who threw that could have done someone a serious injury. Who needs that at a football match?

  • Gonna sound like a pyrotechnics wanker, but I wish everyone would stop calling it a flare. Flare's are a LOT more dangerous than smoke bombs.
  • I didn't see it but If it was a smoke bomb then I'm not sure it would have done any damage if it hit someone to be honest. Pretty sure they're quite light. I may be wrong though
  • Has anyone given the idiots name to the club? Also if the stewards aren't going to take appropriate action when confronted with an incident they need to be replaced. Anyone know how the woman is?
  • The guy was arrested after the game

I will be very surprised if he doesn't get a custodial sentence.

Along with at least a five year ban from The Valley.

  • Instead of involving themselves in some of the worst 'banter' I've ever seen, perhaps it would be better for the Millwall fans to post on the post match review thread and give their views of the game. It's what makes having other fans on here worthwhile.

And also lets hope the little knob that threw the flair gets a ban, although if our stewards are involved I'm not holding out much hope.
  • How about we send the sod out blindfolded before the next home game, break his season ticket over his knee, and invite everyone in the stands to pelt him with fireworks.
Perhaps leftbehind could join him to plead his case and say we're wrong to point him out.

true, but throwing anything from a great height automatically becomes just as dangerous.

If i was near the bloke that threw it i'd make sure i'd never see him at the valley again. I'd proper grass that prick.

According to someone here she was in the pub afterwards so I would imagine she is OK

  • If the idiot was arrested, he is in deep ****. Up to 3 months custodial and football banning order plus any ban the club will impose. That is just for taking it into the ground, never mind setting it off/throwing it.

Fair point. I saw her get hit (not from nearby) and it looked a like heavy object and painful but it wasn't exactly incendiary - left a trail of smoke, but didn't give off much after landing at their feet. I wouldn't want to get hit in the shoulder with a tin of beans thrown from the North Upper, which is what it looked like, and it could have done serious damage if it had hit her in the head, but there is a difference.
