Would much rather stuff like this is done in order to get people excited and in the ground. Thought it was well produced myself.
If you're going to complain about our marketing team trying to make an "atmosphere" for a match like this, then don't get to the game and sit there in a trance like usual when we play these mugs.

I think they make some decent content to share socially for the fans. That's to be applauded.
Blimey, what a bunch of moaning sods on here this morning.
The game does mean more than almost any other to us fans. Good that Bob/the club recognise that and are up for the challenge, rather than melting away like in recent times. It's a promotional/motivational video, that's all.
If MK Dons can steal WImbledon's history by claiming to have won an FA Cup, they really should be stealing their derbies too. As if Peterborough give a flying f**k about that no mark club.
Er... I don't see the problem with it. Come on, we complain when the marketing department don't do enough to get bums on seats, and now its cringey when they do??? What?
I think what is 'cringey' is some of the comments on some of the Millwall threads, its like Satan and her followers are coming to town and our children will be eaten.
It's a well made video, but it is cringey and quite embarrassing and is just setting us up for a fall when we get our annual beating by them
As I said, i liked it, however and going back to a theme from another thread, I would like them to produce something like that for our season so far and link it to the half season ticket deal and then take the social media "football for a fiver" approach and engage fans to tweet, facebook share.
We talked about engaging the fan base to deliver leaflets, it would be a lot easier to engage fans to be social media active to spread the word with a video like this, the use of hashtags and a momentum behind the value of entertaining football at affordable prices at the Valley.
What makes that so funny is the choice of player as much as anything. He isnt exactly the most 'warrior' like player in the squad to get the crowd going.
so when we post a video to youtube it's an embarrassment but when diego poyet shafts the club and f's off accross the thames he's just doing his job and looking after himself.
How Diego going to play in the premier league and starting at Old Trafford and creating a youtube video for our game against millwall can be compared is laughable.
Can someone please post a link to this disgraceful video so that we can all have the opportunity to feel shocked, enraged, embarrassed and appalled by it? What with England's victory last night and South Eastern Trains only making me 4 minutes late for work today, I'm really getting pretty desperate to lose my temper about something.
Is says a lot that the highlight in my life of watching Charlton v Millwall games (I am 34) is David Whyte hitting the bar from 40 yards at the Valley.
At least the club is trying something. I'm surprised they still think the game matters to the fans when half won't even turn up on saturday, and then we won't even sell 3k for the away fixture next year.

The video is embarrassing but, as you say, so are our turnouts. Quite enjoyed the games at the Den the last couple of seasons, but the home games have been awful in the stands as well as on the pitch. The players have let us down badly in the last two home games, but it's not as if they emerge from the tunnel into an inspiring cauldron of noise.

Unfortunately, this is cringe-tastic.

fully preparing myself for us to be a total no show on the pitch and get turned over, anything else then is a bonus

I don't really see the big deal, hopefully our fans show more belief in the ground, create a decent atmosphere.

Agree some people are weird.
And it wasn't even a goal.
