  • Credit where its due.
  • No one going to explain the cost then?
  • It's been explained.

    Some goes to manufacturer
    Some goes to millwall
    Some goes to government
    Some goes to headley court

What bit do you not understand?

I understand. I just wonder how Millwall or the manufacturers can justify such a small amount going to charity.

    A small amount!?

With the work that's gone into this I doubt they'll make much. It's not just the cost of the shirt it's what it takes to get that shirt designed & made.

Im from a family who a split down the middle.... Mums from Bermondsey & Dads from Charlton and I have a few friends/Family that post on here so thought I'd give the red side the heads before I ring up for donations!

  • If it's £1 or £10 does it matter? It's more than wearing the usual kit, raises awerness for the charity and its clearly stated what goes to the charity, so if people wanna buy it then they will.

    Agreed.

It was the same last season with Prostate UK ... No fee was involved but raised awareness for a very good cause.
  • Well done Millwall

Holloway told The Sun: "But this again shows what Millwall is all about and, until I came here, I didn't realise quite how much this club reaches out to the real things in life."

Afraid not Holloway - this is what Millwall are largely all about http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xwebe_YCszQ

Dont suppose it has ever interested you then eh?
    What?
  • sorry to say but---well done Millwall

  • A nice touch but given Millwall's history surely replica prison uniforms and donations to the Prisoners Reform Trust would be more appropriate?
  • Not often I can say this but well done Millwall
  • Well done Millwall.
  • I'd love to see all your lots reaction if Palace had done this....
  • I'd love to see all your lots reaction if Palace had done this....

But they would make a song & dance about it............literally.
  • It would be an even 'nicer touch' if they were to not make a single penny from this..............not just giving a certain percentage.

If this was us or any of other club bar the nigels, then I don't really think you would be critical of it.

There is nothing the stripey Nigels could do to gain my respect apart from them all jumping in the river Thames.
  • Well done on this occasion
Unfortunately it will take a bit more than this to bring their reputation out from the gutter!
  • Well done Millwall!!!
This sort of thing always puts football into perspective...
I hope they raise lots of money.
