There was another programme broadcast about the time we first got into the prem which was a sort of "Charlton back from the dead" show. It covered the winding-up order, groundshare, return to The Valley, promotion etc. One of the lads at work heard it and nearly crashed his car laughing at the bit about Mark Hulyers boatload of bananas which was going to clear all the debts (it didn't).
I remember that one but there was also a programme about the final itself. So there were two programmes broadcast by BBC radio about us "Charlton back from the dead" and the one about the play-off final broadcast in the late 90s or early 2000s. So I think the play-off final one is a repeat. But as I said it's fantastic to hear it again.
Yes, I've definitely heard another programme on Radio 5 Live about the play off final. Was broadcast in the early 2000's - I remember sitting in the car park at the Mariott Meon Valley Hotel nr Southampton getting ready to play golf (probably a sunday after playing S'hampton the previous day) and almost missing my teetime as I didn't want to miss any of the programme.
