  • Isn't this just another thread by someone who can't wait for us to lose?

We usually have loads of luck...all bad!

How long did we wait for a penalty last year?

So, we may be having some good luck this year. Can't we just enjoy it?

I'm beginning to think some Charlton fans are only happy when they're miserable...
  • Garbage. I'm only happy when it rains.

Justice was done as Wiggins was held to allow guy to get to byeline. We should have had pen as Igor was tugged in box 2nd minute. Could have been red also. Bore off Lee Clarke. Moans about decisions all season.
  • We haven't been let off any disallowed goals.

The ref decides and only his decision counts whether we agree or not or whether they are for or against us.

People need to stop looking for ways to put us down all the time.

    Just my opinion.
  • Every team gets them anyway, Igor had a perfectly good goal taken away from him against Huddersfield, these things happen, we have not been anymore lucky then any other team this season.
  • Wasn't at the game but listened to Lee Clark who spoke to the ref about the disallowed goal and how he wanted to take the replay to show him. I thought it must have been a blatant one. Must say its a 50:50 to me, you win some you lose some. The attacker had one touch a moment before he shot when the guy near the goal line was not in an offside position, and I imagine that was what Clark was looking at given his outrage. The guy's leg in the picture above could easily have been fractions behind Henderson's body, we haven't got a picture that shows what the lino saw. If I was Clark I'd be having a word with the numpty for touching it to get the goal award rather than moaning about the sort of 50:50 decisions linos make every week. I'm actually impressed with how often they are spot on.

    No.

It was a blatent an offside as you will ever see.

If he'd left it is would have been a goal but he didn't.

After watching the FLS highlights, you can see that it wasn't. He was level with Henderson and Morrison was behind him to the right of the goal.

That said, I can understand why the linesman gave him offside, given how close he was to the line. And he should have left it. So I think we've had a let off both in the sense that a player's stupidity has helped us, and in that the linesman has made the wrong call.
He definitely wasn't offside. I was in line with at the game and said it then as well. We got lucky there.

Offside or not we didn't get lucky, as Harveys Gardener rightly says Wiggins was held preventing him getting in an early challenge on the guy who crossed it. It's blatent watch the replay

Fair enough. I'll have to watch the highlights.
  • People were complaining, how many richochet goals were scored against us at the beginning of the season, "swings and roundabouts"

  • Even if he wasn't offside from the lino's angle you can see why he must have looked it. Quite apart from which, any decision which annoys Lee bloody Clark is a good decision for that reason alone.
  • Watford, rotherham and birmingham all had goals disallowed for offside...i thought there have been others...
